“The harness I ordered was a little loose at the front. I emailed PerfectFit with a photograph and an alternative piece was sent for us to try. This fitted perfectly. It is soft against my dogs body and well made. It helps that it doesn’t have to go over her head. There is nothing not to like about the harness or the service provided by PerfectFit, I have already recommended to a friend.”

“Simple to order with clear instructions. I needed to change part of the harness, very quick and simple to do. I received a new part the following day. Harness is fantastic quality, it fits my Dachshund absolutely perfectly.”

“I've been using these harnesses for the last 15y they are great, reliable, comfortable, they last really well except for the front section which with my dogs need replacing every 5-10y so not a mayor issue!”

“From beginning to end this experience has been wonderful! The customer service team helped me choose the right size for my puppy. They were so helpful and when his harness arrived, it came with detailed instructions and a video link on how to fit. The harness itself is so sturdy and durable in comparison to others we have had. The way it fits has also really reduced our puppy’s anxiety. Will never buy from anywhere else. 10/10”

“My French bulldog needed a new harness and Perfect Fit was recommended by a dog trainer friend. Well-made and comfortable and fully adjustable. I purchased the lead as well as the harness and would highly recommend these products.”

“Very pleased with my harness for our 5 month old Cockerpoo. Fits great, seems very comfortable and well made. Love the modular system, when I made my initial order the front piece was too big, really easy to return and exchange for a smaller one which is now a 'Perfect Fit'... Definately recommend this product.”

“Hi I recently purchased a Perfect Fit harness for my 5 month old puppy, Finn. I emailed for advice thinking I needed to order a 20mm L-S-L harness, based on his size/growth rate. You emailed back to say that I would need a 20mm M-S-L, so that is what I ordered. The harness arrived; it is great quality and comfy for my puppy, but it is almost at the full extent of adjustment already, so I will need to buy additional pieces very soon for it to fit correctly. I think I was right in thinking I needed a L-S-L in the first place. So I am a bit disappointed on advice given, as I will need to buy new larger parts quite soon.”

Thank you for your feedback, Kate. It might not be the top piece that needs replacing. We usually recommend that you upgrade either the front (Y) section or the girth piece before the top, as these have all the adjustment areas and will give you more growth room in the long-run. As puppies grow so fast, harnesses will always need to be upgraded but we always try to do it in the most cost-effective way possible, and we will definitely be able to advise you on this. We recommend to drop us an email with some pictures of your pup in the harness to: info@perfect-fit-dog-harness.com before replacing a section as we will be able to advise on the best way to proceed.
