Easy to file claims and quick to respond and pay. Have had several claims and have never been questioned with the proper paper work filed for claim. Pets Best is the Best!

Pets Best is great, but the prices go up for no reason. On top of my rate gradually going up every year without me using the insurance, when I finally made a substantial medical claim after 5 years, the actual coverage was less than 90% and my monthly payments immediately increased. If you're going to bump up my rate because I used my insurance, why not return some of the money that I spent all these years for insurance that I wasn't using?

So glad I got this pet insurance almost 4 years ago for my rescue pup. He has had ear and skin inflammations ongoing . This Pets Best insurance has been so financially beneficial. The only issue zi have is they are slow to reimburse.

I have been a customer with multiple dogs for years and have been very happy with Pet's Best. Within the last year or so, I have definitely noticed a change for the worse in their service. They have been very inconsistent with how they process claims and the time it takes to do so. I have two dogs going through rehab and both meet for coverage, but their claims are being processed very differently. Twice recently, I have submitted illness claims and the person processing incorrectly changed them to wellness claims which are not covered under my policy. Also, when I have a question or am trying to notify them of something regarding a claim, the person you speak doesn't actually do reviews and can only offer their interpretation of what the person reviewing was thinking. In my experience, there are no notes on their end to clarify what the issue actually is from the person processing the claim, so the times I've called it was a complete waste of time and very frustrating since they offer theories instead of actual answers. Ex: one dogs rehab was denied saying the receipt provided didn't meet their requirements (even though it had been fine for 2 months) with a note saying it could be resubmitted with an itemized receipt (the vet's office luckily cooperated and sent me an itemized receipt which was approved) and my other dog that received the same treatment with the same receipt I am still waiting for a decision because when they sent me an email asking for additional information and I sent the itemized receipt, they called it a duplicate claim and the person on the phone kept telling me they don't require itemized receipts. A lot to say, that they used to be very ready to work with and now they are getting very difficult, but worse they are inconsistent.

They respond to all claims as required. I couldn’t keep my dog healthy without them. She has a liver disorder that needs to be monitored. The price has gone up in 7 years but I’d rather pay and know they will be there for her when needed. Thank you Pets Best.

My 1 year old dog's premium went up a lot from last year to this with no payouts made by Pet's Best. It often takes over a month for claim processing and benefit explanations aren't clear.

Disappointed in the covered costs. Zero for spaying a shelter puppy, and 10% on heart worm prevention. I paid $278 and you covered $30.

Every time I put in a claim, it is paid very promptly. After having a previous dog die of a very rare disease with no warning, I feel the monhthy premium price is definitely worth it. Thanks.

I had changed to pets best years ago from another insurance company and never regreted it. They have excellant coverage and prompt payment. I even have other family members using this insurance. If I ever need pet insurance again (my cat went over the rainbow bridge a few weeks ago) I would not hesitate to use them.

The Agent’s that answer calls in the claims department go way beyond setting up Policyholder claims….. In my experience in a very stressful and traumatic call to Pets Best ,I was treated with compassion, patience and reassurance that what I was experiencing was indeed a difficult situation to face. I was advised of my different options and time frame of turn around decisions on my claim. Once the claim was approved I received notification on my phone that a resolution had been made followed with an e-mail on charge/benefits comparisons etc…. They also allowed me to use the Direct-Pay to Veterinary Provider. Thanks Pets Best, for your compassion in a difficult moment.

We have been using Pets Best for several years and are very pleased with their service. They offer one of the most customizable plans to meet your needs. The turnaround time for smaller claims is good, but for larger claims, the process takes several weeks longer, which is our only disappointment. I have recommended Pets Best to others in the past and will continue to do so.
