“Pets Best has literally saved my dogs life, twice! He has needed an operation to have foreign objects removed for his stomach and intestines both times. Pets Best paid exactly what they said they would. One of gthe best investments I have ever made.”

“It's great insurance and great coverage. I just wish they would consider a pre-approval process for non emergency procedures. Paying up front for procedures and then submitting the invoice in hope of coverage does not give you the peace at mind that a pre-approval process would so hopefully they'll consider this change.”

“The claims process was quick and easy. However, they do nickle and dime you as a probiotic that was prescribed for my dog by the vet that attended to her gastro upset was not covered. It's only $20 and when the doctor prescribes you something, you take it and it should be covered.”

“Like any other insurance company don’t stop rising the premium price and every day they cover less and less. I do t know if whoever is handling g my claim is a licensed insurance claims adjuster as I can only speak to a customer service. I don’t know how regulated this company may be by Department of Financial Services.”

“I have been very thankful for Pets Best Pet Health Insurance. I would not have been able to afford the level of care I receive for my pets if I have not had insurance. It is comforting knowing that I do not have to worry when my pets get hurt or sick and I can take them to the vet and get the best care for them.”

“My dog underwent a serious and delicate (and very costly) surgery recently and I was somewhat skeptical as to whether the substantial claim amount would be covered. Pets Best covered the claim in accordance with my policy and did so promptly. I am extremely satisfied with their response.”

“Hoped I would never use my accident/ illness insurance policy- but my dog tore his CCL- had to have surgery. Pets Best quickly reimbursed me the 80% after deductible!!”

“I used to really love pets best. It was my go-to recommendation. This last accident has been a nightmare with the policy. Nitpicking everything we’re doing. It’s been a revolving door in vet offices 2-3 times a week for a month (and will be for a few more months). Requiring vets notes (which has never been requested previously). Pets Best are now deciding what things cost from the notes and what they want to cover out of our bills. My invoice is itemized, which I have been told multiple times on the phone, but it has been retracted multiple times too. I have also been told that it was on record that I was told it was itemized from a previous conversation. This is causing me to make the difficult decisions of cutting corners of my dog’s recovery. I still stand on the insurance company has the better policies overall. Which is why I gave them a 3 and not a 1. I have been a customer for 4 years and have been extremely happy with them. Had a dog with chemo, and pets best made that all possible. I am really frustrated with how they handled our most recent situation. I will be considering a new insurance company for the next puppy as I am hesitant to be stuck with this company after this current fiasco.”

“We have had our two Bichons covered by PetsBest since they bc were born. The coverage is excellent. It gives great peace of mind going to the get knowing no matter how much the bill is, we only pay 10%. Very easy to submit claims in their app. Definitely, recommend PetsBest!!!”

“We have been a customer of Pets Best for 3 years now and the great customer service continues on a daily basis. Whenever we submit a claim, we get prompt email verification as well as resolution. If there is any question about the claim we submitted, Pets Best does their best to get the correct information so that reimbursement can occur in a timely manner. We truly appreciate Pets Best Insurance and recommend them to any Pet Owner.”

“So far I have no measurable complaints with Pets Best. They offered me fair coverage for my 9 year-old stray, and have covered everything I would have expected them to given the policy declarations. We are only a couple months in to the policy with only one active claim, but nothing but expectations met 100% of the time has been my experience.”
