“I am very disappointed in what the company believes an issue is a pre existing condition. When the dog has an illness and the following year it is considered pre existing. I wish I had purchased Trupanion. I had another pet and Trupanion and they never gave me problems. I care about my pet but your co is making the cost to care for my pet very high. Even my vet is annoyed with this issue. Johanna Spinelli”

“Love the fact they cover most every thing. I just don't like the fact that once you reach your limit it doesn't cover anymore and you have to pay.”

“Shocking! Insurance that doesn’t want to pay out. We recused a dog and bought the insurance knowing there would be high vet bills getting him healthy and caught up on vaccines. They denied his urgent care visit, didn’t cover his second round of vaccines saying we had already used our yearly allowance and then I received $5.60 after $250 went to a deductible. If I’ve seen the vet twice in one year, how did I not reach my deductible the first visit?”

“I have been a good customer for several years with very few claims but this past year I had to deal with a surgery and my premium was tripled which priced me out. Now I can not get coverage for his preexisting conditions . I will consider my experience for the next dog.”

“I'm a veterinary technician and have worked with a lot of pet insurances. Petsbest is a good insurance, but insish claim times didn't take so long. Every claim I've placed has been held up by pets best. Its definitely worth having, but wish claim times were quicker.”

“Processing of my claims is taking much longer than it should- and then I find out that expenses that should qualify for coverage are not covered- I am going to explore a different pet insurance”

“When we first joined 4 years ago it was easy to work with Pets Best and reimbursements were received quickly. This year, the reimbursements have taken weeks to be received. We’ve also had to submit my pets medical records to receive reimbursement. Your company has all of his records already as he has been insured since he was adopted at 8 weeks. I’m questioning if Pets Best is going bankrupt or is in financial trouble. If not, your customer service has declined significantly. I’m not sure if I still trust the company at this point.”
