“They keep closing claims even though I have documented emails that show records are being sent from my Vet to Pets Best and I keep having to call them to reopen the claim.”

“Pets Best has been very helpful when my cat has high cost visits or procedures, but they should also offer to cover a portion of prescription foods if these are medically prescribed for their health and wellness. Even covering half the cost would help keep these closer to the normal cost of food. Otherwise they are excellent.”

“Overall, I have been pleased with the insurance. However, there was recently some confusion with a claim (for no obvious reason since all the appropriate documentation had been sent, more than once). On 3 separate occasions, I spoke with 3 different people. All were quite polite and each one assured me that the problem had been solved. It had not, generating another email asking for an invoice (which had been sent more than once. Very frustrating and time consuming.”

“As much as I want to continue my coverage, this is incredibly expensive. Over multiple years, I have spent more on this than my and my spouse's insurance combined, expecting a moderate pet bill would be covered. My first claim in nearly 3 years barely covers two months of premiums. I will be much better off canceling and paying everything out of pocket.”

“I’ve had my pets with this insurance since they were pups. Great service, fast claims turnaround time. I love tht I can link my care credit for reimbursement. The only thing I don’t like is prices go up every year”

“While the processing times have been a bit longer recently, the insurance is generally pretty affordable. I purchased the BestWellness add-on for my new 10 week old kitten and I've already gotten one month's premium as a reimbursement already. When his additional vaccines come due and he gets neutered, it will be such a big help.”

“This was the quickest I think I've ever been paid back. It was amazing and I think they were very fair. Other than California things cost a little bit more so it cost me a little bit more but all in all they took really good care of me and I would recommend this company as I've used them with my last two dogs, and they've never let me down”
