“Pets best increased the price of my plan almost double this year. My dog has no health issues and is still extremely young. They stated the increase was based on other customers. That is an inappropriate and unfair way to run the business.”

“Pets Best Health Insurance has mostly been very good for us and our dog Jazz. However, this year, it seemed to be more prevalent than in previous years to question my claims --i.e. they were saying they were "unreadable." That had never happened before -- and it was frustrating; but at least it seems to be straightened out now. And your staff is very nice and good to work with!”

“This is my first time purchasing and using pet insurance for my new puppy. Years ago I was not really an option and I've incurred numerous expenses for labs over the last 25 years -- having owned 5 now. The claims process is FAST, EASY and exactly as stated in the policy. Routine blood work for spay appointment, uploaded the invoice and before I could have the spay appointment the reimbursement was in process to me. Amazing! i've recommended it to everyone. The coverage, the cost, the peace of mind knowing if something happens my beloved lab puppy is covered really means so much. Highly recommend.”

“This is the 3rd insurance provider I have used for pet insurance and by far the best. Never have to fight with them about getting a claim approved, the prices are great, covers cancer and breed specific issues, and has am unlimited policy option. The areas where they could improve are the app and claim processing times. The app has some permissions bugs and send you to the browser to complete may tasks. The claims processing times are slower than I'd personally like but they aren't terrible. It's not months long but 2-3weeks.”

“An unexpected paw injury requiring surgical interventions (one under anesthesia) created two claims, which were approved and paid for under the terms of the policy, so definitely worth it. It is helpful to review the specific exclusions, and know what the deductible and copays are, as they add up. There was a several week delay between the claims and the payments.”

“They've been nothing but fair and supportive to me and my cats. Never had a legit claim denied, always had a prompt response to problems/claims/questions. They've always overdelivered on their time frame estimates (ex: they'll say 2-3 weeks and be done in 10 days). Price is reasonable and my first cat only got the surgery she needed because I knew PB would have our back.”
