“Very easy to file claims, and claims are reviewed and generally paid within a week. Had Pets Best for 8 years now and never had a problem, nor haven't needed to contact them. They are thorough and quality service. Highly recommend!”

“Pets best has been well worth our investment. Not only that they cover a large percentage of all accident and illness claims, but we have a wellness policy that covers standard vaccinations. My only criticism would be that many vaccines are multi year and the wellness policy only reimburses the max for the cost of a single year dose not the total of a multi year vaccination. I also wish there was coverage for gland expressions when there’s a history of rupture. But overall, I don’t know that I would be able to afford all the care. My senior dog needs without having had her insured with pets best for a number of years now. I wish human health insurance was this good and easy to utilize.”

“Pets Best is a must for all pet owners. Emergency sickness or sudden accidents are very costly. This insurance will give you peace of mind when this things happen. We have this insurance since we got our dog and he's now turning 4y/o. He's very healthy and very active when 1 day he stopped moving around just staying mostly in 1 place and not drinking/eating. He's very restless and behavior suddenly changed. We brought him to the ER and full diagnostic test were done. Thanks to Pets Best at least some are covered. You have to pay 1000$ deductible and some services have co-pay but it's still worth it. Submitting claimed is so easy and being done on the app. We highly recommend this insurance! Thanks to Pets Best.”

“Overall, I've had a really good experience with this company for the past 8 years. But on my most recent claim, they did not handle it well at all. I received multiple emails from them, stating that there was a delay on their end because they were needing to contact my dog's vet for additional information. Turns out that was not true, AT ALL. They denied my claim for particular wording on an invoice. And instead of contacting the vet for clarification, like they implied they were, they just flat out denied the claim. I'm super disappointed in the situation because now I have to go through the appeals process for something that absolutely should be covered under my dog's policy. The 2 customer service representatives that I spoke with honestly sounded like they didn't want to be at work that day and couldn't provide any additional assistance other than telling me I had to go through appeals, which can take up to 60-90 days. I think it's absolutely absurd that they would deny my claim under some impression that my dog is pregnant when she is 8 years old & spayed. Make it make sense. That info has been documented on every single piece of paperwork that has ever been provided to them. So the lack of care in claim handling & to finalize a decision without actually reaching out to her vet to clarify wording on an x-ray is just baffling to me.”

“Pets Best customer service are always great on the phone. Eased my anxiety with submitting so many claims at once for my pug who was battling a severe case of pancreatitis. My pug unfortunately passed away after the last claim I had submitted, and they were great with cancelling the policy so I wouldn't get charged for the upcoming month. Within a few days, the rest of my claims were processed and within the following week the reimbursements hit my bank account. Very pleased with everything and so grateful for pet insurance to help lessen the financial anxiety to provide my fur kids with the best care possible!”

“My first claim with them was paid without any issues. Past pet health insurance has always been a hassle with little payout, so I'm very pleased with Pets Best. They did what they promised - they reimbursed me for a pet medical emergency.”
