“Hi, my name is Allison and I was a part of the Pets Best family for a little over 4 years. I got my first dog, and my neighbor told me to get insurance, so I did my research and picked them. I got my perfect puppy and within the first 6 months he got bloat, I got the bill and immediately cried thinking I had to choose between my dog and that kind of money. I then remembered I had insurance which was a huge relief to me. From having bloat, my dog developed complications later on in life going into liver failure twice, and then at the age of 4 unfortunately passing in emergency surgery from liver torsion. I wouldn’t have been able to give my dog a great 4 years even though he had health complications if it wasn’t for Pets Best. They allowed me to get him the proper care, scans, blood work, and medical care needed to live his best life. He even had an allergist and nutritionist who was covered. So thank you to Pets Best for being by my side for the last 4 years and for giving my dog a life and hope, you are more than appreciative and thanked.”

“I really don't have an issue with Pets Best Insurance I just wish they paid 80% on wellness coverage also, I hate that my pet has to have a medical issue in order to be reimbursed 80%”

“I recently had to take my cat to the vet for a brand new medical issue, and my claim was denied due to it being a "pre-existing condition". Well it's not pre-existing because I've never taken my cat to the vet for anything like this before, so I'm not really sure on what grounds they have to deny the claim other than the caat had other health conditions before that 1% change "could" have contributed to this brand new issue. I would say if you get a brand new pet with no pre-existing conditions and put them on this health insurance right away, it would be worth it. But I'm finding the company will do anything to deny a claim by baselessly linking new issues to anything the pet has had in the past. I also have no clue why claims from over a month ago took so long, but then I submitted a new claim that got processed immediately (even before some of the claims from a month ago!)”

“So thankful for Pets Best. Recently my 1 year old kitty was diagnosed with Anaplasmosis with a super hefty veterinary bill. Just a month before she had a gastrointestinal issue which resulted in a vet visit as well. A $1K bill turned into $200 for me after reimbursement. Claims are always processed quickly and professionally! Having this insurance allows me to worry less when my pets are sick and need the proper veterinary care.”

“I have yet to have any issues with the insurance itself. I’ve had my animals split between 2 insurance for years, finally I consolidated them all onto petsbest a few weeks ago. I would highly recommend this insurance. The only con is their mobile app; it hasn’t worked in a while or doesn’t work more than it does (for us at a least). This is not a deterrent to the insurance though as they have good customer service, are very communicative about claims, and have little maintenance to cover your furbaby. So far so good!”

“I did a lot of searching arouond and comparing policies and prices before I made a decision on Pets best for my 9+ year old Chocolate Labrador Retriever. They offered the best coverage for the best price, and the options were very flixible on fine tuning for any given situation, cost, etc. I recently filed a claim on July 1st for an appointment she had that day, and by the late evening of July 2nd I received notice that the claim had been approved and that payment had been sent to my bank account via direct deposit. Very happy with the coverage and service, I highly recommend Pets Best.”

“I have only had this insurance for 2 months, so my opinion may change depending on the upcoming weeks ahead and if they will stand by our insurance contract. I have a 5 month puppy and pay around $70 each month with all the add ons. So far they haven’t paid for items that were in the agreement and it has almost been a month. Perhaps it takes a long time to process these items, but it should be straightforward. I am hopeful that this will be processed soon and that they will reimburse me soon. I was under the impression that they pay out very quickly, but beware, they do not.”

“Simple, easy to submit a claim. A single emergency paid for three years of premiums on three dogs and then some. The option to refund back onto my CareCredit card was also very nice.”

“Been with Pets Best for 5 years now and they have always been there when needed. Their turn around times for claims have been great and if on occasion I have questions, they are prompt with their responses. I have and will continue to recommend them to anyone who asks.”
