Too many co-payments and not enough coverage. I've been paying premiums for 3 years and then had 2 visits to vet totaling over $600.00. Less then $350 was covered. Considering a new pet insurance company

For almost $30 a month you guys, don’t show very much interest in the animals care. You only care about the money and it shows!!!! Your insure guide manual is awful.

Claim review times are ridiculously long. I have renters insurance, personal health insurance, accident insurance, car insurance, dental insurance, etc and they all have claim times much, much shorter than Pets Best.

Have used Pet Health on a limited basis. Very surprised premiums just increased to $55.00 + per month. Considering cancellation.

Claim processing takes longer and longer and pays less and less. Definitely changed since I signed up. Typical insurance company that makes promises and then screws their customers.

I submit an annual preventative exam bill for $400 and receive $43. From insurance? Hmmm..

I feel like I am paying my monthly payment but have yet to get any help with vet bills. I have received a 13$ payment. I understand a deductible but I should have net that a long time ago.

VERY HIGH PREMIUMS. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too high. Too many sicknesses, medicines etc are not covered.

I started with a reasonable cost for insurance and the rates are going up a lot every year. My dog has a chronic ear infection and it’s never covered.

Processing of claims sometimes takes 5 weeks. I’ve been with them for many years. They used to be excellent. Now the rates are outrageous and it takes forever to be reimbursed.

I am a new customer, and at the moment am not too pleased with the service I have received. Communication has been virtually non existent, except when initiated by me. The payout was about what I expected, but if this is the service level I am going to get I will not be moving my other dog onto Pets Best when his current policy expires, and I will find another insurance plan when this one expires.

I had high hopes for this company after reading things online. Only later to find out those write ups were by the company itself. I purchased the best wellness plan for my dog. Took her for a first time well check up and was denied the reimbursement for the well visit because the vet gave us some anti bacterial spray for a small rash on her tummy. The company decided the visit was medical IT WAS A WELL CHECKUP/FIRST TIME OFFICE VISIT

Administration and claim payment is ok. Unfortunately the marketing material did not clearly describe how cost sharing is processed. It is disappointing to see that the plan subtracts the Cost Sharing Coinsurance payment at the same time that the Deductible is being filled. I’ve been in the insurance business for over 30 years and have never observed this type of benefit administration. A Deductible usually gets fulIfilled, then other cost sharing starts. I talked with the company and was directed to the page where the vague benefit language was published. At that point I was blown off by the representative. So that’s that! The administration of claims in this way subsequently increases the time it takes to fulfill the Deductible . So it costs the policy holder more before the Deductible is filled. I would not recommend this policy because of this.

2 month waiting for my reimbursement then call after to check on my case and say they haven’t done anything so 2 more months before I get it and still waiting

While they respond to your claims in an average amount of time, my premium has tripled in only 4 years. They claim everything changes with pet’s age and overall condition yet they don’t provide concrete data. There is a lack of transparency in their process and their customer service is subpar at best. Don’t think I’ll be staying on for next year.
