“I actually ended my policy with your company just today. After 10 years I realized how much money I’ve spent for not much in return. I know, that’s what insurance is all about. But I’m always disappointed when my pet’s annual wellness checkup isn’t even covered by half! So, after $10,000 I’m done.”

“This is my second year with this insurance. So far, Ive found that it doesn't seem like they pay much, and claim processing is very slow. I expected a bit more for almost $80 a month for a 5 year old dog.”

“This is because of our recent experience with Pets Best insurance. Our pom-chi had a second surgery because she had calcium oxalate stones. Pets Bets did not cover any of the costs because they said it was due to a chronic condition. The vet that did the surgery and we disagree. We are going to appeal.”

“I was always so happy with Pet’s Best and recommended this insurance to a lot of people. Now I am so highly disappointed in them. I have been a customer the last 6 1/2 years and always got my reimbursement back in 2-3 days. Now it’s like 40 days. But they always debit my account every month on time for the premium payment. Pet’s Best better get their act together and start reimbursing like they used to. If I need pet insurance again, I don’t know if I’ll go with them or another pet insurance as I’m sure a lot of people feel the same way I do. I am retired with a limited income and cannot way this long to be reimbursed.”

“A little disappointed. I recently euthanized my dog and wasn’t aware that they don’t cover any of that expense. I’m sure they have it in small print somewhere and can prove it’s explained but I wasn’t aware and it’s really messed up to realize you just put you dog down for an insane amount of money, had never used his insanely expensive insurance and now aren’t getting anything refunded. Pet insurance isn’t like human insurance and I don’t think the benefit outweighs the cost at all.”

“Extremely expensive. All of the sudden, my dogs antibiotics aren't being covered. He need 2 refills for an infection and they weren't covered when they always were. Not happy and I've been a customer for 10 years, or more!”

“Refunds take over a month to get reimbursed trough claims even when done online. Need to hire faster better employees to handle claims so it won’t take over a month to get reimbursed”

“Suppose to be a 5 to 10 day window for payment of claims. The wait time is now ar least 40 days. I have had to go without paying bills because it takes so long. The benefits are good but the turnaround time is horrible. And it's always the same answer when you question why it takes soooooo long.”
