“The premium increase is rediculous since I may not hasve any paybacks at all this year. I shouldn't be penalized by grouping me with all the others.”

“Paying for a 90% reimbursement. And getting 15 dollars back out of a 200 bill! Wonderful. No excuses 2025 just began and it’s my first time in a vet this year. So doesn’t make sense.”

“We purchased Pets Best Health Insurance the day we brought our pup home and we've been part of the Pets Best family for 5 years now! Recently, my dog was having issues with an undiagnosed urinary condition, after many trips to the vet and several rounds of testing we are narrowing in on a diagnosis for her. Thankful I've been able to focus my energy on getting my dog the care she deserves and not stressing about how I'm going to pay for it.”

“I believe the bill was $700. and I got $77.94 back, don't understand this low amount.”

“As a new client, my experience has been smooth so far. From my initial inquiry, the customer service was excellent, and my first claim was handled with ease. I also appreciate the app for its convenient access. However, I will write another review after being with Pets Best for a year.”

“I absolutely love this insurance. They are super easy to work with and for submitting claims. Reimbursement payments are very timely if you use their direct deposit options. EOB's are easily understandable.”

“We waited to get a dog until we could afford it. We didn't want to be the people that had to watch their dog suffer because we couldn't afford the procedure. Even then, to be a humane owner, we felt like we needed an insurance partner. We did the research and landed on Pets Best and haven't left. They've been responsive, timely and have lived up to their side of the deal exactly. What more can you ask for from an insurance provider? I recommend them to all my dog owner friends.”

“When submitting claims expect long delays, expect difficulties in having claims put through without having to jump through hopes. Customer Service Representatives aren't very helpful. There is a lot that the insurance company doesn't cover.”

“Pets Best is one of the most expensive and least customer service focused pet insurance companies I’ve worked with. Unfortunately, because my pet now has a chronic condition that may be considered preexisting (a fact that a customer service agent was sure to rub in my face when I called and discussed canceling after a crazy price hike), I am unable to choose a new company to switch to. They should be ashamed charging nearly $200 a month for one pet.”

“After paying almost $900 in premiums over a year and a half, I will get a check for $80.00 on a $137.00 wellness exam and FVRCP vaccination, and their website has no place to cancel the coverage . . . . .”

“The amount this goes up every year is ridiculous! I haven’t had any emergent claims my dog is only 3. Soon I will not be able to afford it. Your plan is more expensive then others I have been pricing looking to switch.”

“The coverage seems to be getting less for some of the same things while the premium is getting out of hand!!! I submit claims for take home prescriptions, minor vet visits and a yearly wellness visit including vaccinations. The reimbursement for the vaccinations is so minimal and my girl’s flea & tick medication isn’t even covered at all. It seems to me that I’m being charged the huge premium just because my girl is older. And the reimbursement takes a ridiculous amount of time to pay!!!!! Extremely disappointing.”
