I found this provider affordable, helpful, and just what I needed. I only gave 4 stars because I haven’t been with long enough to experience different situations. Of course I really don’t want my cat to have to go to Vet frequently...

I have 2 dogs and both of them have had covered claims with Pets Best. The filing process is easy and reimbursement quick. Covid 19 has slowed the representatives response time but that is to be expected. As with most insurance it gets more expensive as your dog ages, but overall I have been satisfied.

The only thing that I was not happy about was the time it took to get a refund. Otherwise I am happy with Pets Best. 😊🌻

I’m grateful for PetsBest insurance. My only recent concern is how long it takes for my information to be reviewed and for feedback to come on reimbursement. The virus seems to have slowed life down for most people.

I was happy with the payment. But I did not like the website, does not give you updated information and it took a month to process. I have and will recommend best pet insurance to people.

I've had very difficult time communicate with Representative because few different person told me different things & I sent same claims document 3 times ( by Fax, by up lords).

Waiting time for reimbursement is to long, 62 minutes on phone to speak to a reprenstative is unacceptable

I've had Pets Best for about 5 years. The coverage, is good, but expensive, and ultimately, I had to cancel it, as the premium increased exponentially each year as my pet aged -- even if I didn't use the insurance much the prior year. I realize premiums do increase as pets age, but I decided it was more cost-effective to put that money in a savings account, since the max the policy paid out was only $5000 annually, and I was close to that mark with my premiums, and of course there was deductible, too. Your best bet, with Pets Best, is to insure a YOUNG dog before any pre-existing conditions.

Overall a good experience. App worked when submitting clam and it was about 2 weeks before we received the clam. This was for wellness exam.

I am very happy with the way my claims were handled! This is a busy time and my puppy had a pretty scary accident and pets best was there to help!

I gave them 4 stars because so far I've only had one payable claim that exceeded the annual deductible. So far no complaints. They paid their portion of the claim in a timely manner. They provide you with an EOB form that looks a lot like your health insurance. While it did take longer than the initial estimate, it was only by a few days so I have no complaints. Its hard to rate the speed of claim processing because this review is in 2020 during the Covid pandemic so its probably not a fair time to evaluate this. They do keep in contact and provide you with the expected time to process up front. And if they miss that date they provide an update.

the customer support at petsbest is very helpful and kind, I used the whiskerdoc telehealth service as well and they are very friendly and informative. My only negative is the wait time to call in with questions, but this is due to COVID so can be expected.
