I give 4 stars as either my Vet is high or Pets Best is a little low on what they pay? Yes I would recommend Pests Best.

Just started using best pets. Purchased Pet best because of their overall high rating. I just submitted my first claim and was pleased with the covered reimbursement. Took alittle longer then I thought but over all satisfied.

If you have to update information it takes longer to get your money back. But other then that not bad.

Claims submission process is easy! You can do it all and upload documents very quickly; however, the review of the claim takes quite a while. An email is received within a few days of submission saying that they have received your claim and are processing it, but they are suffering delays due to call volume. A month or so goes by and then they respond and either have accepted or denied your claim.

Service wise Pet's Best is a five. But make sure you read all the exclusions. It seems like a lot goes uncovered. If you have a very sick pet, or if they have a major accident/illness you will be very happy to have insurance, but I am not sure if it makes sense over the lifetime of a generally healthy dog or cat.

I’ve had both my dogs insured through Pers Best over two years. They always have paid my claims and for that I’m thankful. My old complaint is the amount of time it has taken then to process claims. It used to be much faster. As my renewal date approached they paid my claim very rapidly-then stalled out again with my most recent wellness claim.

Overall, I’m pleased with Pets Best. My 4 year old Labrador has been insured with them since about 6 months old and I haven’t had any issues. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that up until maybe late last year it only took a week for claims to be processed. Now it takes a month.

As a new policy holder, I was initially disappointed on the lack of communication regarding my first claim. I was told it would take 15 days to process when it took over 20 days. However, the claim was recently processed and the next claim I submitted I received a notification that it could take 15-39 days to process. Happy to see that this information is now communicated so I know what to expect.

Would like better except when I first took the insurance we could change the coverage higher each year. Now they have taken that away and I can not get unlimited coverage without cancellation and starting over again. Not happy about that at all.

I've had insurance thru Pet's Best for 4 years. Last month my dog swallowed a sock and needed surgery. They reimbursed me everything except for my co-pays and deductible as outlined in the policy. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because it took 30 days to process the claim instead of the 15 days that they advertise.

Pets Best Insurance was referred by a family member 10 years ago. Claims are processed in a timely manner and EOB is explained when a claim is approved or denied. Easy to understand claims. Thank you

The problems I have had, have all been recent. The turn around time was too long, my biggest problem has been with the hold time on the phone before I got to speak to a person. A lot of other companies instead of you holding so long on the phone will give you the option of holding or leaving your number and getting a call back as soon as possible. This is something you might look into. I know it would have helped me and I am sure it would have helped your employees from getting griped at.

Customer Service staff is always helpful, kind and courteous. The monthly charges for pet insurance are reasonable and due to this I had switched a year ago from Healthy Paws (I have 6 dogs insured). I just had an emergency with one of my dogs that resulted in approximately $2,500 in vet charges. I received my reimbursement as expected, with my deductible counted in with this claim. I did not have the hassle of having to provide additional medical records and information, so if that was needed after having submitted my invoices then PetsBest took care of all the communication with the ER care center and my regular vet which I greatly appreciated. Other companies ask the pet's owner to go back and get additional documentation which I found to be very cumbersome and annoying. My ONLY complaint is that the reimbursement took longer than expected although I did receive an email stating that their claims processes were running behind. Still, having to fork out $2,500 upfront, especially in this COVID crisis with the environment, was very difficult for me and I desperately needed the reimbursement as quickly as possible. Claim was started with my dog's first vet appointment on 7/18 and I finally got reimbursement for the large chunk of it today - so almost a month later. Worth the price for my pets, and I think once their claims volume goes down the wait time may decrease. So far I would recommend this company and have been happy with them all the way around. You never know until you have to file a claim!

Deductables on older dogs are too high.. Should be considered on how long you have been a client.

Whenever there were updates to a claim I would be notified right away. Any issues I have had have been addressed in a timely manner. Thank you for helping us take care of our two dogs.
