“so far I have been really pleased with the insurance. my first claim was paid. But I have had trouble getting through to an operator, because I am confused about something in an email I got from the company. Do I only get reimbursed for ONE preventative claim? We still have more vaccines, neutering and micro-chipping to go. Will those claims be paid or was my first claim the only one that will be covered? I am confused and can't seem to get clear answers.”

“I am very satisfied with my last three claim submitted. These were reimbursed within the 15 day guideline. Big improvement on the turnaround time compared to last year. Keep up the good work!”

“I would give it about 3.5 stars. I used to give it higher but their claims processing seems much slower over the last year or so. Otherwise its decent.”

“My deductible was not clear and I definitely thought I would be getting more of a reimbursement on my dog's emergency vet visits. The ease of submitting the claim was nice. But it took them 4 or 5 attempts to get my dogs records from my vet and my vet sent them over multiple times. I had to call them to explain she didn't have records in 2019 because she wasn't taken to the vet that year before they would process my claims. Sat on hold for literally 21 mins for a 1 min conversation.”

“I have had pet insurance with petsbest for many years with my dog. And I havent complained about the huge increase in monthly payments. I work in the vet field as a tech and I understand why it increases. I’m just disappointed that For how much I pay it doesn’t cover as much as I am to believed. And they called my work asking how much I’ve paid and I’ve paid over 700 on my bill and they only paid 100. It’s just kind of rubbed me the wrong way and I’ve considered looking into other insurances. Petsbest has been amazing up until the last 2 years. And I’m slightly offended how they called my work and drilled my coworker like they didn’t trust me?”

“Great service, and absolutely paid our bill as promised, which is most important, but communication could be better. When trying to check on the status of our claim, we never got through by phone (waited on hold over 30 minutes twice), and our email and text inquiries were never answered. Our claim never showed on the website as in process, it went from "received" to "paid" after about 3 weeks. As new customers, this was concerning, we won'the woerythromycin next time.”

“My policy is for a 10 year old dog whom I adopted at the age of 7. I am glad I made the decision to get a policy for my dog. Pets Best insurance has reimbursed me several times now for claims. I have had the policy for about three years now. Rates do increase as your dog ages, but seem to be reasonable and comparable to other available companies.”
