“Claim took longer then normal”

“Overall my interactions with Pets Best has been very good. Lately the claims seem to be taking longer, but they do eventually arrive. May be due to the covid issue with employees working from home.”

“My only problem with Pets Best is when it comes to paying claims. It takes way to long to pay a medical claim. Also they don't pay close enough attention to certain claims. When a claim is submitted for a combination heartworm and flea medicine they pay it under the heartworm benefit and don't cover it under the flea benefit until you let them know they made an error. Then you have to wait longer for reimbursement of the remainder of the claim after they review it. I am glad I have the insurance to fall back on, but improvement needs to be made in processing claims.”

“It was an ok experience. Faster processing this time than the first but only got reimbursed for $20 out of a $135 bill for wellness visit.”

“I haven't been a customer very long. May of 2020 is the first time I've dealt with submitting a claim. The process has been easy and I am kept update as to the status of my claim. Customer service is prompt in responding to questions and concerns.”

“Pet's Best is very good but they are always short staffed and I could not get to talk to a "person" about a claim and that was frustrating. Claims are processed fairly. So many dog insurance company's out there but I am staying with Pet's Best.”

“I am happy with this Pet insurance!! Sometimes the reimbursement time could be quicker. It is sometimes a few days but it can be 2 weeks which is too long.”

“Their prices are great and they are very helpful when you call. The only negative is that it does take them a little while to process claims. Once they re processed they pay right away which is a good thing. I still wouldnt go anywhere else for service, they do cover alot for the price you pay.”

“The people are wonderful, friendly, and are truly concerned for your peace of mind. The only improvement I can think of is the turn around time for the checks. It is usually 3 weeks. However, what is worse, is if there is more information they need it ends up being the same wait time as if starting a brand new claim making it 6 weeks.”

“They took care of the claim promptly and when I called with a question about a more recent vet visit which was for both a problem and two vaccinations which were routine they explained briefly how best to submit the claim. The only problem was the wait time to speak with someone.”
