So disappointed with the standard of the dark brown frame I ordered - the stain on visible surfaces was not applied evenly with some areas not even having stain applied. The mitring also left a lot to be desired. I would not commend.

Frame was lose and bendy, didn.'t hold glass. My husband had to repair to make it usable.

The wrong items were sent to me. The replacements were not sent out on the agreed date and half the order was missing. The remainder was also not sent out on the agreed date. A catalogue of incompetence. I will not buy from you again.

Hi . We didnt like the quality . The frame is so fragile for this size and after few hours holding at the wall the acrylic glass starting get out of the frame. unfortunately. we can't use this frame picture.

I ordered two box frames with spacers, they arrived in good time, however they were not box frames as they did have any spacers. To return would cost too much and when attempting to call despite the website saying Picframes is open until 5pm no one picked up the phone and no answer phone. Won't be using again or recommending.

I ordered a mount for a frame I had and after carefully measuring it and the picture, decided on a double mount. The one I received is 13mm too big. Now I have to cut it. It would have been a lot cheaper if I had simply done it myself in the first place.

Pretty unimpressed. I haven't had my order - just an email from the courier saying they haven't received it therefore won't be delivering it. Picframes have not responded to my emails yet. No idea if or when I might actually receive what I've paid for.

I ordered 2 frames for Christmas presents on the 8th December 2016. I chased them up over 2 weeks later and was told they would be delivered the next day. It is now the 10th of January 2017 and the frames have still not been delivered. My payment was taken the day after I placed the order. I have been phoning constantly and the answering machine for the Christmas period is still on when you are supposed to be open! I have sent e-mails with no response. My experience has been shocking, I am out of pocket and have two friends who didn't get their Christmas presents!!

Although the frame was fine the mount was a completely different colour to the representation on the web site. I emailed twice and phoned several times to ask for samples of the colours in order to decide on what to order for a new mount. Although the company said they would post samples out to me (twice) nothing happened, we haven't received the sample card or a reply to my emails. I've now gone to an alternative supplier to buy a suitable mount.

I am dismayed. The mounts are badly cut, and dirty, and have dented edges. The back boards are rough cut, some of them are just cardboard with writing on. These were to be used for mounting unframed browser prints for an upcoming exhibition. They are completely unfit for purpose.

it took ages, no e-mail or communication, frames were wrong and mixed and poor quality. No tape or anything of what was supposed to be sent. Never again

Very disappointed in Picframes. Having read previous reviews they seemed to be a reliable reputable company to buy from. However customer service have let them down very badly. My frame was damaged opun opening. Emailed and called the company numerous times and they have neglected to get back to me. I will continue to call and email, however I will not be using their services again.

Utterly hopeless. Large frame was delivered in packaging that had fallen apart and was completely unsuitable. The transparent plastic had been pushed through the frame and flattened some of the clips. How PicFrames could use such an unsuitable packaging is beyond me. Immediately after refusing delivery because of this I sent an email to picFrames. I have not as yet had any reply - I have however received this review request. I am still waiting for my money back!

Hello, This is our first day back from the Christmas break. The packaging is the same as all the other frames we send out and as you can see all our reviews are 5 star. We have now received the frame back and have checked it over. All you needed to do was bend the flexible tabs back. we use them as this averts any damage to the glazing. A shame you did not try it as it would have avoided any disappointment as it was a Christmas present. I have refunded the transaction in full. Kind Regards Mike Barrow

Hello Daniel, We received your order on the 28th and have already dispatched your order which i have tracked your order with Parcel force and it is on the van for delivery Today. I ordered a frame to fit a theatre billboard which measured 14" x 22", I placed the dimensions in website to include 3 mounts and when I received the frame the size is a 1/4" short so my billboard does not fit. The fit of the frame is poor also, the frame is black but you can see the wood colour at two of the joints due to a two mm step, I also think the mounts are looser than they should be, which when placed in the frame become uneven. I have sent two emails to picframes with no reply, one too their customer support and one to their online help.

The request for my review, on your part , is very badly timed. My frame was due to be delivered yesterday between 13:15 & 15:15. I had to leave my house at 15:30 to collect my children. the delivery driver arrived at my property at 16:05 ! I fully appreciate traffic issues and time pressures, but a phone call informing the customer would be helpful and an email apologising for the missed deadline rather than review request may have been more appropriate ! Hopefully my frame will arrive at some time today!

None of the delivery conditions were carried out - notification, delivery time etc. A refund was issued due to non-delivery. The frames did arrive eventually. They were not collected for return, so I got around to looking at them. As it turns out the plastic 'glass' was unusable due to false cuts across the surfaces and damage due to protective film missing from one side. The corner joints were very poor quality and the mount apertures were not sized as ordered.

Picture frame is of poor quality. One corner the edges do not meet and the corners are damaged. When I lift the frame it feels like it's about to fall apart, because the frame moves away from the glass. Hesitant to put it up because it feels so rickety. It's a large frame and if it falls it's likely to damage our newly decorated room. Such a shame as I have a beautiful photo that I've been looking forward to putting in it. Not particularly well packaged, so may have got damaged in transit. A very disappointing £50 spend!
