“Bought a flat back post from this online store and took it to my piercer to help me put it in (I had just broken one of my wrists so couldn't get it in myself). She held it up next to several other posts of the same gauge (16ga), and this one was noticeably thinner than the rest, which was concerning in terms of quality control. When held up to 18ga posts, it was still thicker, so I guess it was some mystery 17ga post. I let customer service know this and they explained that I had probably been sent the wrong gauge, and that they would send me the same one again. I said I just wanted a refund as I don't trust that the new one would be accurate in terms of thickness, and they said sure but I would be charged a 20% restocking fee. I argued that it was their quality control that was the issue, so I shouldn't really have to pay for their issue, and they obliged saying they'd waive it the one time. When returning my item, I included this email exchange in the package so that they couldn't say they didn't know.
When they received my return, I emailed back with my concern that they deducted a restocking fee (they didn't, it was my miscalculation) and they just had to sneak in there that they measured the jewelry and it was in fact 16ga. If you scroll through the reviews, you'll see that I'm not the first person to have this problem with their QC. If you're not concerned about quality control at all and want to deal with a retailer that always has to get the last laugh, please do buy from here!”
“My experience with Pierced Universe was awesome! My order shipped very quickly, arrived well protected in bubble wrap and an envelope lined with more bubble wrapped. My tragus earrings and nose screw were in perfect shape, quality was excellent, fit was perfect and just what I expected. Crystals were good size, noticeable but not overwhelming, their sparkle just enough to catch your eye. Excellent correspondence by email, quick responses, would recommend to everyone to browse their site - you're sure to find what you've been looking for and can order with confidence that you will be looked after.”

No surprises- jewelry is just as it appears on the website. I've ordered a few things over the years- plugs, expanders, bar bells. Nothing looks or feels cheap when it arrives. Everything has lasted well even with daily use.
I was motivated to post this review because of my most recent experience with their customer service though...
My order was unfortunately stolen at our apartment's mailbox after delivery. I was pretty bummed to say the least. I reached out to customer service and received a response in less than 24hrs! They offered to re-send the product at NO CHARGE and even offered to send it to a new address this time around so it would be more secure after delivery. Communication was friendly kind and quick. The wooden spiral expanders were sent to my friends place and arrived 2 days earlier than expected.
Now I'm happily stretching from 0 to 00 ☺️. Thanks again!!”
“I wish they’d allow returns on items that aren’t gold. I’m new to piercings, and it’s hard to know if the nose rings I order will be the right length, or noses studs will be the right circumference. I’m stuck with two pieces of jewelry I’ll never wear and I’m out nearly $30. Frustrating af”
“Ordered three items, two of the earring came bent and misshapen. I never even took them out of the packaging. I emailed asking for a refund and showed them pictures. They said they had quality control and the product wouldn’t have shipped like that. I emailed back and told them there refund policy allows for a full refund if the product is damaged and here it clearly was. I still have not heard back from them and they won’t refund my money. Save yourself the hassle and DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. The customer service is so terrible it is not worth it when there are so many other places to get jewelry from.”

“The first time I ordered from here I never recieved my spacers so they had to be re-shipped. When I received them I was happy the issue was resolved and I was happy with my products. Recently I just ordered nipple bars and they also were never delivered. So like last time, I emailed them asking for my product to be resent or for me to be refunded. This time, instead of having my issues resolved, I was told that it was out of the norm for it to happen to someone twice as they never have any issues with delivery with any other customers. And that was it. No help. Just suspicion. Somehow I doubt I am the only customer who has ever had any delivery issues..and I should not have to deal with pushback for not having received my order. And I still haven't received my nipple bars and they still have my money.”

“Ordered 18g & the sizing is off, sent them pics to show them the ones they sent vs 18g that I already have and a pic of a 20g to compare/show the differences.
They basically said to bad, they will give 20% off if I want to order a 20g, but I want a correctly sized 18g not a 20g.
Also the invoice came from them , yet ghe packaging was from Pierced Creations, a lower priced Etsy seller.”
“Accidentally ordered 1 plug and they were quick to ask if I meant to order just 1 or if it was by accident and I needed the pair. I confirmed I did need the pair. They then sent me 3 by accident and just let me keep the 3rd plug. Great customer service and very nice quality product. I always get compliments when I wear these!”
