“I ordered plants from Play It Koi and another online 'megastore' that will remain unnamed. Different plants other than the hornwort, but both sets of plants were pond/bog stuff. Both companies packaged everything well, everything arrived moist and intact. The other company shipped overnight, PIK took 48 hours. However, PIK's plants were in AMAZING shape on arrival, gorgeous and green and healthy. The other company's plants were subpar; the hornwort was brownish green and shedding bits terribly and the papyrus plants had dried stalks like it had damage before being shipped. I realize the plant business can be challenging, but PIK was FAR better quality. On top of it their customer service was far more helpful and friendly. The other store responded to a simple question with a pretty condescending comment. I will definitely buy from PIK in the future and highly recommend them and their plants! As a side note, I also ordered 2 snails and received 4! I had absolutely no idea how to incorporate them into the pond, so I honestly just tossed them in without any acclimation. Initially I thought they had died because hours later they were still in the same place, however the next day they had moved all over the pond, so I think they were hibernating when they arrived. Super excited to see my new friends enjoy their pond! Thank you!”
