I bought Pondmax flocculent and Pondmax sludge remover based on Play it Koi’s recommendation , after I asked which products to use in my 3000 gallon garden/koi pond. I used the products and followed the directions on the bottles and within a few hours most of my fish were dead. Play it Koii needs to give explicit directions on how to use the products they are recommending. Pondmax needs to give much better warnings for their products.

Dead leaves on all plants ordered. No small basket on the poppy that came with it on previous order. After several days in water/sunlight … no better. My reply to company was “ At this point, the best next step is to plant or float them as intended and allow them some time to acclimate. Aquatic plants can look a little rough immediately after shipping, then perk back up once they are in warm water, sunlight, and stable conditions. I would give them about 2 to 3 weeks to settle into the pond.“. Both times I have responded, I get answers they are a “small company”. I understand, but that’s not the reason the leaves have some black spots or dead leaves on them. It wasn’t this way the first time I bought from them.

I have not received the zp 10 replacement bulbs yet. I received the rest of my order l called your company to find out when I might receive the u v bulb but have not received reply yet. Order #71244

Plant died within a week of putting it in a pot. I sent pictures and asked for a refund. Still have not received a solution to my problem and issue. Extremely disappointed!

Badly... your customer service is awful. I urgently contacted you by phone and email multiple times... i never got a call. During the delay, i list a 60 year old koi! Also, the instructions on the medication were horrible. I won't be using you again!

I havent received my two fertilizer bottles and today my lily appears to be rotting:( I reported the missing fertilizer right away and was told research would occur right away as bottles are shipped separately from plants but now im not sure what happens. I just am reporting the rotting today.

What can I say. Your website is completely misleading even on the verge of lying to your customers. 7 of my items will not survive my zone even though your website says it will. I've contacted support over phone got a refund for 2 items but not all of the ones that won't survive. I've emailed last week and still haven't got a reply. I spent around 400 dollars. I only bought things that I though would survive. Your website doesn't match the labelling of your distributor. Your distributor is completely correct and you website is full of lies. We can't trust your website at all. I used to work in the aquarium industry so I know how it operates. Updates your website to match your distributor is really easy and I can't believe they don't align. I moved the plants they all came in perfect condition and great packaging. Your your website if misleading and the descriptions are a jumbled mess. Each page should have the same format and I should know what zone they will tolerate as a perennial NOT an annual. No one not even your distributor labels it that way. Any thing can be an annual anywhere. We want to know where it will be a perennial.

I purchased the Periha Drop-in Submersible UV-C Sterilizers × 1 40W - Periha Submersible UV Clarifier for my pond. I placed it near the filter area that is close to waterfall and covered the filter box so the light wouldn't affect birds, fish, toads, etc. After just a few hours found a dead toad. Moved it to skimmer box and again covered box. Within a few hours one dead fish and several more dead toads. Requested a refund as this unit was literally in my pond less than 1 day and was told by management they have a no refund policy on a "used" product. I also ordered hyacinths and water lettuce. Neither are looking well and I will have to replace. This is my first and last purchase with this company.

I did not know what center tube for pf 2400. .the one sent will not work. You say send it back in same box. No it is huge because also ordered was sponges. Now I have to pay to send back and you say I will also be charged the original free shipping. Not acceptable. Going to my credit card. I still need a center tube for it. Now you say I have to spend $160 for a lid assembly with tube...but pond max says that one comes with the same single looking tube I got with a lip on bottom and pieces sticking out.

none of these items have as yet been delivered - I have only received the lillies (which were supposed to be delayed) not having these items has prevented me from planting the lillies. the lillies are now pretty much dead so i would like my money back for the whole order . this has been a waste of time and money. i have not been able to achieve what i needed to.

I'm very disappointed with my recent experience. I ordered the frogbit on Wednesday, May 10th, to be delivered to Eugene, OR. By a week later, they had not shipped yet so I sent an email asking when they would be sent out. I never got a response but I saw on my account that they shipped it the next day, Thursday, May 18th by FedEx 2nd day. It seemed like they had forgotten about my order until I reminded them. I was surprised they shipped my order of live plants on a Thursday since the website clearly states that plants are only shipped Mon - Wed. My office is not open on Saturdays so the package was not delivered until Monday, May 22. I opened the package immediately and the frogbit were all yellowing or brown. The plant tissue was slimy and all the roots had broken off from decay. I'm not sure what state they were in when you shipped them but they were no longer healthy or viable by the time they arrived (see attached photos). When I requested a refund, I was informed they would not refund me the price of the shipping. It seems to me, I should not have to pay shipping on a damaged product that died in transit because the PIK shipping department broke with their own policy. This is the second time in a row that I have been disappointed with PIK service. I get the feeling they have expanded their company and they no longer provide the level of care or service they used to.

Everyone was very nice , but they sent me 2 floating baskets that were defective (rims would not straighten out from packaging ) and they were 6 " smaller than website description . They said I have to pay return freight and I could not return the one I opened. How would I know it was defective without opening it ? Very bad policy . I will never buy anything from them again. Never had a problem with any of the other websites that sell koi supplies.

I ordered a $5,000 filter / pump / UV kit that said it was to come assembled and it hasn’t, it’s come in random parts and the parts come in randomly on their own, weeks apart from each other. This is a joke and I will recommend everyone stay away from this website. I paid $5,000 for a fully assembled pond filtration system, not just random parts where I have to put it together whenever the final pieces come in randomly without notice, there is ZERO assembly done, ridiculous and false advertising

Your ad is very deceiving I was expecting the whole UV unit but just got the bulb. Not familiar with this stuff so when I seen the picture I assumed it included everything will be returning for refund

Hi John, Our goal is long-term, repeat customers and I'm sorry that you felt things could've been more clear in this instance. I did review the description of the purchase and it does appear to be clear that what you ordered is just a replacement bulb (which needs replacement every 12-14 mos), but I do think adding your public review to the listing will also help others from making that same mistake. Thank you. Lastly, while you may personally be better off just hanging onto the bulb as all UV bulbs need to be replaced every 12-14 mos anyways, we would be happy to accommodate a return request for the new, unused, and in original packaging 30 days of purchase If this is your desire.
