What went wrong! What went right would be quicker to explain. David the engineer was fantastic and did the job he was asked too. The office however, were incredibly incompetent. My appointment was cancelled instead of another job in the same area, I was given another slot but no one turned up. I spoke to several people over the two days who loved to put me on hold. I was told I'd be called back. I wasn't. I had the office say I had to speak to the engineer about a discount for the inconvenience, which I found out wasn't the truth after speaking to the resolution manager Michelle Doherty. However, she clearly didn't want to resolve anything and cancelled my appointment. After reading Google reviews it's clear I'm not the only person to receive poor feedback. I was given an Afters ales email to send a complaint to but it was made clear to me by Michelle that is would go back to her and she wasn't willing to do anything more. Will not be recommending this company.

very disappointed I called at 12pm and was told a plumer would be with me between 1 and 5pm when they didn't arrive I called and was told they wouldn't be coming until the next day buy that time it was to late to get anyone else so I cancelled . On checking my bank account they had taken money out of my account for nothing seems to me as soon as they get your account details the help themselves to your money before doing anything else. When asked about this they say they can't refund the money for 3 to 5 days. What a suprise ????

Plumber was called by my 84 year old disabled mother to repair leak in cistern. It required a new bolt (cost £2.50) for which he charged £60. Furthermore he left his waste paper in the pan which she subsequently had to clear. The next day the valve went in the cistern requiring a plumber (thankfully someone decent). Coincidence? Company has offered £30 refund but claims that they have no idea of how paper got in the pan as it couldn't possibly have been them. Justified cost of part as it is an "emergency price".

I posted an unsatisfactory review on 23rd July which Plumbing Force attempted to take down claiming that they didn't believe I had a genuine buying or service experience. Having supplied the relevant paperwork to Trustpilot it has now been reinstated. Says a lot about this company

I called Plumbing Force to my boiler which intermittently would fail to ignite. The original appointment was cancelled by them at short notice and re-scheduled. The engineer diagnosed the fault was due to low gas pressure and arranged for Northern Gas to replace the regulator and I was charged £237.60 by Plumbing Force. Whether there was a fault with the regulator or not I do not know, but the problem continued. I arranged a further appointment for Plumbing Force to return but again this was cancelled by them on two further occasions at short notice. Utterly frustrated with Plumbing Force I then called a Vaillant engineer who diagnosed faults internally with the gas valve, spark electrode and burner gasket and following replacement the boiler has continued to work without fault. I complained to Plumbing Force about the cancellation of appointments at short notice and about the poor standard of the engineer who was not familiar with the boiler, could not correctly diagnose the fault and had no relevant parts even if he had. The utter contempt and disregard Plumbing Force then displayed towards me is breath-taking. They did absolutely nothing to address my concerns and simply ignored my complaint even after I wrote personally to the Director. This shows a lack of professionalism and governance that is not acceptable by a company acting in the public service and endorsed by the Gas Safe Register. Having further ignored my request for a letter of deadlock I attempted to complain to the retail ombudsman, but Plumbing Force are not listed under the UtilitiesADR Home Services Providers Membership list which speaks volumes about this company. While I cannot comment on the safety standard of work carried out by Plumbing Force (the engineer actually did nothing other than charge for his time) the disdain shown by this company is appalling and I would urge any customer to keep well away

Requested plumber at 0900 and settled on a time for them to be there from 1200. Due to phone on roaming (the person taking the call was aware) they were to email me. 1845and been waiting at the house all day with no showing up. I emailed them throughout the day, with no reply.d

Beware! Used these today. Got quoted £63 part to fix my boiler, plus labour. £265 later and my boiler still doesn't work, and I need another £500 of parts. Their excuse, they can't be expected to correctly estimate at the beginning!

What a joke! After being told that the engineer would be on site between 11 and 2, was then call just before 2 to be told that they couldn't make it until between 3 and 6. Then called at 5:30 after waiting in all day to be told that they wont be coming at all!! Avoid this bunch of cowboys!!!!

Major boiler issues. Banging and shaking the house when heating the water. Two engineers separate ocassions still not fixed despite having paid over £800. High levels of CO identified second time that should have been checked by first engineer. Sludge that needed cleaning, again should have been identified before. Emailed with all details of complaint, received a call 3 days later saying they are 'looking into it' but lady going on holiday for 2 weeks and would continue to 'look into it' on her return. Disgusted and disappointed as the charges are high so I assumed the service would match. I have taken it further

Getting the boiler serviced was the final condition of our house sale. As it was urgent i took a day off work for a booked 9-1 appt. Upon chasing I was told no-one was coming and appt rearranged for two days later. They didn't turn up again. We're now trying to find someone else who can do it urgently as we're meant to be completing in a few days. Plumbing Force this is the most basic task and you can't handle it and you now owe us for an emergency call out that we'll now need to ensure our house doesn't fall through. Unacceptable.

Very disappointed. First time I called I got a response within the hour despite it being 3:30pm on a Friday afternoon and it was fixed. Unfortunately the blockage came back within 6 days and I called again today at 7:30am. I was told somebody could be with us by midday, this was then changed to 3pm, I was then called to say by 6pm and then called again to say it would not be today. Not the 1-3 hour response the website offers on a hot day when a toilet blockage is unpleasant and we have guests this evening. I had stayed home all day and options given for tomorrow were stay in all morning or all afternoon - so I declined and will look elsewhere. Frustrating.

Absolutely useless! Happy to grab your credit details and promise a three hour service. Not so good at delivering. Between 9 and 1 became between 1 and 4. At 4, no news. When I call: "can't do it today." Great to hear at 4 on a Friday afternoon. No hot water for the entire weekend? "Not our problem". Never, ever, would I go anywhere near this bunch of incompetent unreliable discourteous amateurs!

Plumber didn't show waited in all day Saturday you need to have more plumbers on your books wasted our day and had to pay extra to get one to come on Sunday

Very disappointed. Having waited in Saturday for a fixed appointment - they did not show and had to call to find out they had no intention of doing so. In re-arranged appointment was told they could not do the work because a kitchen unit needed cutting (5 min job) and was charged £94. They wanted to charge me again to do the actual work.....am sure it is what the terms said but no sense for keeping customer happy and an advocate....would not recommend......

I initially contacted 'plumbingforce' on Friday 30th June. I was told somebody would contact me before 2:00.. They did, but unfortunately they explained their engineer would not be available, so they said somebody would contact me before 6:pm. At about 5:pm sombody did contact me and explained that their engineer wouldn't be available today, so somebody would contact me between 8-12 the next day. At around 12:00pm sobody told me that the engineer was on his way. At around 2:15pm, still no engineer. A lady named Michelle told me that the engineer had been stationary at the side of the road for about an hour and a half and couldn't be contacted. Where was the engineer, in a pub, at home, whereever he was he couldn't be contacted. The whole experience of 'PhumbingForce' was very frustrating. Why didn't the engineer contact base. Even if he had broken down, why didn't he contact somebody, so they could contact me, pathetic, unprofessional and they've wasted nearly two day of my time, time I could of spent getting professional/reliable customer focused help.
