We had a new gas hob needed installing. Plumbingforce claim to do same day work...this is patchy at the best of times. We booked it around 8am in the morning and was given a slot during the day... So stayed in. Later in the morning we were told the engineer is running late so will come late afternoon...so we stayed in longer. Come late afternoon received a phonecall saying they will be unable to make the appointment but are given the early slot the following day. The next day, wait for it... No engineer. We are told he can't make it. Upon complaining they tell us someone will come. When they arrive they tell us they can't connect the gas hob because the gas supply isn't sufficient and if we want it sorted we have to pay over £300 and still charge us £94! Later in the week another plumber working for our neighbour takes a look and says they could install it for around £70 and the gas supply is fine... So we have been conned out of two days of our time where we had to eat out with no cooker and lose £94 for no reason. I'd steer clear!

Booked an appointment - 12-3 slot. No one came , had to chase this appointment and was told running behind. Already paid for the emergancy call out . Asked for clarification and was shouted at and spoken to extremely rudely. Phone was also put down by the so called manager when asking for her name. Avoid this sevice at all costs! Appalling.

I arranged for an engineer to come to our busy shop and was told someone would be with us by 3pm, I called at 2.30pm to confirm that someone was coming as I hadn't heard anything and was told yes, I would get a call when he was on his way, but it would now be in the afternoon between 3-6pm, I was then rung at 5.30 to be told he was delayed and wouldn't be attending today. Sorry for any inconvenience but they could rearrange for tomorrow! I explained the inconvenience and cost to my business, and I advised that the service was terrible, at which point instead of apologising, I was met with "okay, goodbye" and then the phone went dead. Disgusting. Do not recommend.

I arranged for an engineer to come and was given a 3hr window 12-3pm. I made a special journey of 3hrs to be in and wait for said engineer. I called at 2pm to confirm that someone was coming as I hadn't heard anything and was told yes, I would get a call when he was on his way. 3pm still no engineer I called again as I was booked on a train to return at 1830hrs to be told he was delayed and wouldn't be attending today. Sorry for any inconvenience but they could rearrange for tomorrow! I explained the inconvenience and cost of said trip but there was to be no recompense just " sorry for the inconvenience " Very disappointing service or lack of. Do not recommend.

BE WARNED.THIS COMPANY HAS RIP OFF RULES.(nearly 25% of reviews are poor) My nephew wanted a new gas hob reconnected in the same place as the one. simple job, well not if can you find a reason not to. after reading the install manual for the first 10 mins he found that the hob was to close to the wall to install(as not to current standards). it must be 40mm gap.the left back side was 40mm but the right hand side tapered down to 33mm. ok he was within his rights,and after 16 mins he was gone with a bill of £94.80. this was for the first hour of work .What I do not accept is that the work top could of been very quickly recut within 20 mins by myself,still leaving 24/25 mins for him to complete his work. He did not give my nephew any options and also said you will not get anything back from this firm. After phoning their office he was right. There is no customer care only strict call out rules. HEARTLESS COMPANY.

Charged me 100 quid for nothing, told me a lot of confusing information just needed a washing machine fitted. Can't afford to call them out again.

Be careful! Booked a plumber, promised for same day and gave Visa details for securing the service. They called me near the end of the day to say they couldn't make it after all, so we cancelled and agreed no charge. HOWEVER they still charged me £118 and despite promising to cancel the charge they still took payment. Had to get Visa to reverse it.

Wasted two days waiting in for Plumbing Force only to be phoned at the last minute on both occasions the engineer cant make it!! WHY take money upfront from customer if you know you cant up hold your end of the deal!!??

Usless! Andy came out to fix my fire, went to put it on 3 days later and its not working. Had little contact from him ignoring calls etc. 4 times he has not turned up to fit it after saying he will and me waiting in!

If I could rate no star than I would. Paid extra for plumber between 9&11 which I preordered on Saturday. The imbecile dispatcher booked wrong date so when I called at 1130 I was told plumber would arrive between 12 and 3. At 330 i chased and was told id get a call back with an update. I didn't get an update so I chased again and he Guy lied and said He left me a voicemail which is impossible as I have it deactivated . Was told between 12&5 but plumber is still not here. Shambles of a company if i hadn't have already paid I would've cancelled

Needed an emergency plumber - told someone would be out today so paid the fee. Waited 2 hours to be told they now can't make it and I have to wait 3-5 working days for the fee to be returned. What a load of rubbish....thanks for nothing

What went wrong! What went right would be quicker to explain. David the engineer was fantastic and did the job he was asked too. The office however, were incredibly incompetent. My appointment was cancelled instead of another job in the same area, I was given another slot but no one turned up. I spoke to several people over the two days who loved to put me on hold. I was told I'd be called back. I wasn't. I had the office say I had to speak to the engineer about a discount for the inconvenience, which I found out wasn't the truth after speaking to the resolution manager Michelle Doherty. However, she clearly didn't want to resolve anything and cancelled my appointment. After reading Google reviews it's clear I'm not the only person to receive poor feedback. I was given an Afters ales email to send a complaint to but it was made clear to me by Michelle that is would go back to her and she wasn't willing to do anything more. Will not be recommending this company.

very disappointed I called at 12pm and was told a plumer would be with me between 1 and 5pm when they didn't arrive I called and was told they wouldn't be coming until the next day buy that time it was to late to get anyone else so I cancelled . On checking my bank account they had taken money out of my account for nothing seems to me as soon as they get your account details the help themselves to your money before doing anything else. When asked about this they say they can't refund the money for 3 to 5 days. What a suprise ????

Plumber was called by my 84 year old disabled mother to repair leak in cistern. It required a new bolt (cost £2.50) for which he charged £60. Furthermore he left his waste paper in the pan which she subsequently had to clear. The next day the valve went in the cistern requiring a plumber (thankfully someone decent). Coincidence? Company has offered £30 refund but claims that they have no idea of how paper got in the pan as it couldn't possibly have been them. Justified cost of part as it is an "emergency price".

I posted an unsatisfactory review on 23rd July which Plumbing Force attempted to take down claiming that they didn't believe I had a genuine buying or service experience. Having supplied the relevant paperwork to Trustpilot it has now been reinstated. Says a lot about this company
