Utterly useless company, cancelled after only I chased. Was told that they weren't able to turn up on the day booked after I had waited in all day. They were aware that I had a gas leak and boiler had been shut off. Did not apologise once and were extremely rude on the telephone. DO NOT USE THESE CLOWNS - VERY VERY POOR

We had a British Gas Engineer decommission boiler as we had a small gas leak on one of the valves. My wife and 2 girls were home alone so called Plumbingforce for an emergency call out as were left without heating or hot water. The engineer arrived a day later than they were told. He carried out a gas leak test on the boiler but couldn't find a leak so put it back in commission without actually firing up the boiler to check it worked. My wife signed the paperwork, being a trustworthy sort but when she turned a tap on after he'd left.....no hot water and the boiler didn't fire. I arrived home around 9pm the same evening as was flabbergasted to find that the reason the chap couldn't find a leak was because the British Gas had isolated the gas going to the boiler and the engineer hadn't opened the valve, hence no leak. When I called, they were very rude, denied any blame. This was at the start of Feb, I've had one email on the 14th Feb 2017 (replied the next day) asking for details of the Engineer form a local company who came out and replaced the valve for half the price in half the time. I've emailed politely on 6 other occasions and had one further reply to say it's being looked into on the 12th April 2017...still no reply. We all make mistakes but this was involving gas and my family and it's negligence that they should admit to and just get this resolved. It's time now to pass to the HSE to investigate as don't want this to happen to any other individual or family.

The have cancelled a plumber on 4 occasions, even after providing a guaranteed time slot. I have not had hot water now for 4 weeks and have hung on their guarantees which have been false. I used them a few years ago and they were excellent - shame that the quality of service is not what it once was

I think I'm going to Trading Standards. They advertise a service that I can see from other reviews is far from consistent. I've been fobbed off for 24 hrs. Cancelling immediately. Shocking bunch.

Booked the day before and gave card details over the phone. I was told that someone would be with me between 8 and 12 and someone would call half an hour before as well. No call at 1135am, when I called them I was given the complete and utter run around and then transferred to a women who was very rude indeed! She stated that she tried to call me twice and that my number didn't work!? I told her it did and she then rudely responded with, no it doesn't and shall I cancelled your order... Yes, please cancel my order!?! Clowns!

Useless Company, cancelled 4 x in 3 days! Always a different excuse, never a manager around to talk to unless you say that a bad review will be written and magically they pick up the phone.... however disappointingly after eventually speaking to her she was very rude and unhelpful and will not get any business from us! HOW NOT TO RUN A COMPANY!!!

Worst service ever. Several visits (charging every time) to find the issue with hot water. Lack of availability to respond to urgencies. We had to chase them every time and they never answered calls. Awful customer service on the phone.

Our experience with this company I can only describe as appalling! We were left with a broken boiler, useless new part and a huge bill. We lodged a complaint which was not dealt with despite our numerous e-mails and telephone calls explaining the issue. I hate leaving unfavorable reviews but I do not want other people having to deal with incompetent engineers and terrible customer service. We intend to speak to our bank as we never agreed to the bill, nor signed the paperwork, only the estimate was signed but the money was taken from our account anyway!

Having accidental put a screw through an under the floor heating pipe I phoned just after 1pm today for an emergency plumber. I was told that I couldn't get a 1 hour attendance but would get one by 5pm. I agreed to this and was told that I would get a call when an engineer was on the way. At 4.30 I got a call to say that no plumber would get there today and that one would attend tomorrow. I was very annoyed about this and said that had I known there either wouldn't or may not be attendance today I would have called another plumber at the time. I am very disappointed and feel let down. What is stated on your website has not been achieved and is a misrepresentation of what you advertise.

I can't review the work.they actually do because the engineer never turned up. booked between 9 and 1, he rang at 1245 to say he would be between 1 and 4 and he never called again not professional at all

Having arrived 15 minutes early, the plumber fitted a time clock in a house with a non English speaker. He didn't have the sense to see that the system worked or wait for the English speaker to arrive. We then had to have someone else in to finish the job.

Lack of full diagnosis by technicians, and add on fee for a return visit which did not cure the issue. Long waits in for engineers that turned up over 4 hours late. Costs to me of installing a dehumidifier, and running it for 2 weeks, only to find the engineers had missed a 2nd leaking pipe.....Note...I found the leak!!! Poor customer service response from Michelle Doherty, no opportunity to raise my concern further when Michelle failed to call me back after several messages left , and then said she will respond on Friday, which is what she said last time. Today I was told by Michelle that this conversation is now over when I asked to speak to her superior.

Booked an emergency engineer (no water due to toilet leaking), was informed that the engineer would attend prior to 6pm. Received a phone call at 5pm saying the engineer couldn't make it and the caller couldn't give a damn that they had left a household without running water. He did offer for an engineer to attend sometime the next day but how could you trust a company that had already broken their promise once. If I was looking for emergency cover again I would use Local Heroes not this incompetent establishment!!

Your engineer never turned up on booked date. I have heard nothing from you since so last week got someone else. He turned up as promised the next day and solved the problem with my central heating. I guess I will never call you again!

After the engineer worked on the boiler and left, within a short time I started experiencing severe headaches. So I called plumbingforce to complain about it and seek recommendations. I was put through to a supervisor after having spoken with the lady who booked job. The supervisor came on the phone aggressively and I was so rude as if she already had a problem with me. She will not listen at all to the complain I was making. My safety was not her concern. She kept saying we shall charge you again to send an engineer out. She was more concern about charging extra than my safety or their professionalism. It was a horrible experience. At around 2:00am the headache was so intense I started feeling dizzy and breathless. Had to call emergency engineers to cut off the gas supply. Horrible.

I have booked twice through plumbing force. Both times given a time slot for me to be in and wait for the engineer to arrive. Both times I have been sat left waiting. 5 hours after my time slot began, I rang head office for the 4th time today to be told 'unfortunately we won't get anyone out to you today'. Being offered the opportunity to re-book wasn't gratefully received as I can't afford to be sat around for another day waiting for an engineer to not arrive whilst my shower is pouring out water. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere

I called and explained that I have a blocked drain in my kitchen and they sent somebody to our house, had a look at it and said it is not my job and told me that I need to call another company, actually he was not a right man for this kind of job, he was shaking and am not sure if he could use any equipment properly. For all above I have been charge a fee of £85+VAT !!!!!

Having booked an emergency plumber and waited in all day on the promise plumber would attend, we were informed at the last minute that plumber would not attend and we would have to make a normal appointment on the following working day. I suspect the plumber was distracted by the sunny weather. Disappointing.

Our gas boiler had problems so had no hot water. Made an appointment for 2 days ahead, they rang on the day and cancelled and re-booked for four days ahead. On the day of the next appointment they cancelled two hours after they should have arrived and re-booked for the following day. They said that they would come early so we got up early only to have them phone to say that they could not come yet again. This time they wanted to re-book 6 days ahead, but we told them that we could not believe them based on our experience so far. A very shoddy company.
