Having accidental put a screw through an under the floor heating pipe I phoned just after 1pm today for an emergency plumber. I was told that I couldn't get a 1 hour attendance but would get one by 5pm. I agreed to this and was told that I would get a call when an engineer was on the way. At 4.30 I got a call to say that no plumber would get there today and that one would attend tomorrow. I was very annoyed about this and said that had I known there either wouldn't or may not be attendance today I would have called another plumber at the time. I am very disappointed and feel let down. What is stated on your website has not been achieved and is a misrepresentation of what you advertise.

I can't review the work.they actually do because the engineer never turned up. booked between 9 and 1, he rang at 1245 to say he would be between 1 and 4 and he never called again not professional at all

Having arrived 15 minutes early, the plumber fitted a time clock in a house with a non English speaker. He didn't have the sense to see that the system worked or wait for the English speaker to arrive. We then had to have someone else in to finish the job.

Lack of full diagnosis by technicians, and add on fee for a return visit which did not cure the issue. Long waits in for engineers that turned up over 4 hours late. Costs to me of installing a dehumidifier, and running it for 2 weeks, only to find the engineers had missed a 2nd leaking pipe.....Note...I found the leak!!! Poor customer service response from Michelle Doherty, no opportunity to raise my concern further when Michelle failed to call me back after several messages left , and then said she will respond on Friday, which is what she said last time. Today I was told by Michelle that this conversation is now over when I asked to speak to her superior.

Booked an emergency engineer (no water due to toilet leaking), was informed that the engineer would attend prior to 6pm. Received a phone call at 5pm saying the engineer couldn't make it and the caller couldn't give a damn that they had left a household without running water. He did offer for an engineer to attend sometime the next day but how could you trust a company that had already broken their promise once. If I was looking for emergency cover again I would use Local Heroes not this incompetent establishment!!

Your engineer never turned up on booked date. I have heard nothing from you since so last week got someone else. He turned up as promised the next day and solved the problem with my central heating. I guess I will never call you again!

After the engineer worked on the boiler and left, within a short time I started experiencing severe headaches. So I called plumbingforce to complain about it and seek recommendations. I was put through to a supervisor after having spoken with the lady who booked job. The supervisor came on the phone aggressively and I was so rude as if she already had a problem with me. She will not listen at all to the complain I was making. My safety was not her concern. She kept saying we shall charge you again to send an engineer out. She was more concern about charging extra than my safety or their professionalism. It was a horrible experience. At around 2:00am the headache was so intense I started feeling dizzy and breathless. Had to call emergency engineers to cut off the gas supply. Horrible.

I have booked twice through plumbing force. Both times given a time slot for me to be in and wait for the engineer to arrive. Both times I have been sat left waiting. 5 hours after my time slot began, I rang head office for the 4th time today to be told 'unfortunately we won't get anyone out to you today'. Being offered the opportunity to re-book wasn't gratefully received as I can't afford to be sat around for another day waiting for an engineer to not arrive whilst my shower is pouring out water. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere

I called and explained that I have a blocked drain in my kitchen and they sent somebody to our house, had a look at it and said it is not my job and told me that I need to call another company, actually he was not a right man for this kind of job, he was shaking and am not sure if he could use any equipment properly. For all above I have been charge a fee of £85+VAT !!!!!

Having booked an emergency plumber and waited in all day on the promise plumber would attend, we were informed at the last minute that plumber would not attend and we would have to make a normal appointment on the following working day. I suspect the plumber was distracted by the sunny weather. Disappointing.

Our gas boiler had problems so had no hot water. Made an appointment for 2 days ahead, they rang on the day and cancelled and re-booked for four days ahead. On the day of the next appointment they cancelled two hours after they should have arrived and re-booked for the following day. They said that they would come early so we got up early only to have them phone to say that they could not come yet again. This time they wanted to re-book 6 days ahead, but we told them that we could not believe them based on our experience so far. A very shoddy company.

I previously left a glowing review of Plumbing Force but unfortunately after they left it transpired that we had no hot water or heating in the house. When I called them back they messed me around , the original plumber had no interest in the issue and said the control centre would call me and they never called. Basically once they had their money they had no interest in my job whatsoever. I still have no heating or hot water.

Phoned 12 noon Friday for urgent plumbing repair. Was told an engineer would turn up before 5pm. No one arrived. Phoned 8:30 am Saturday and told someone would turn up by 1pm. No one turned up again. Terrible service

I phoned up for my disabled and housebound friend to order a plumber to deal with his one and only toilet which was leaking. I saw the advert that says response 1-3 hours, I thought ideal. I spoke with the guy at the end of the phone and he asked to be put over to the bill payer once I agreed with the price. My friend passed over his card details. After the phone was put down my friend told me the plumbers were coming tomorrow morning which was not what I saw on the advert so I phoned up again and spoke with a woman who said they could come tonight and they would ring me one way or the other. There was no nastiness or anything. The original guy phoned me back up and said there was some confusion and he told my friend the plumbers were coming tomorrow so why was I phoning up to change it? I replied nicely that I thought the advert said there would be a response between 1-3 hours? I asked, "Was that right?" His tone changed to an aggressive one and said "I even told you they would be there tomorrow, not today" which he did not, else I would not have agreed to it. He went on "if you are going to go down the road of what's in the advert..." I replied, "I was just checking I read it correctly." Again, he replied "if you're going to go down the route of what's on the advert, I'm cancelling the plumber altogether, I don't like your attitude." I remained very calm, and asked nicely for his name, he refused to give it asking me why I would want it, I replied "It was standard customer relationship practice to do so." I urge the HR and Customer Services managers of this company to listen to our conversation and judge for yourselves. This point of contact between customer (As all card details were already handed over) and this customer service phone man was appalling. His last call to me was at 16.01 on 19/05/17, lasting 1 minute 29 seconds, to my number ending in 366.

Not what was expected and no customer service, if something isnt correct Just under a year ago plumbing force replaced a boiler for me, and a few other bits, thought great job. Wasn't straight forward but the people doing it were friendly and helpful and got it done. So I called them for the annual boiler service. OMG how wrong could I have been, the engineer told me they couldnt complete the service, a pipe was leaking in 2 places, the gas pipe wasn't sleeved and identified the flue was fitted incorrectly etc etc there were 5 or 6 points with the original installation that needed fixing. This engineer was clearly embarassed. In fairness it was all arranged for Monday morning for them to come back and fix the issues (was told service was FOC and it is written on the work sheet he left me with), and it would be fixed without charge. OK thats great I thought only a day to wait with an unsafe boiler. The original engineers who fitted it came back and spent 4 hours in the house correcting the errors and completing the service. My partner signed for everything as I wasnt there, and I was charged for the service (they take your card in advance so there was no option), they sent me an invoice raised the day before according to the email! Oh and when my partner went to check, another leak had appeared so as they were still in the Van they came back in and stopped the new leak. I called to query why I had been charged for the service, and was put through to Michelle in resolutions, who wanted to know why I thought this would be free, i had explained everything so I thought it would be obvious, she left me with I will look into it and call you back, no call back in 24 hours so I called again still nothing. So far neither myself or my partner have had an apology for the poor fitting of the boiler by the engineers (one of whom is apparently an auditor) originally or from the company i.e. the resolutions manager, we spent in excess of £3500 with them at the time, and no guesture of goodwill for the inconvenience caused, the only guesture appears to have been not charging me for the original service, that couldnt be carried out due to the companies own shoddy work in the first place. I have recomended this company in the past but will never do it again.

The gas engineer sent refused to check the gas safety of the fireplace, without a manual, refused to use an online manual and basically did nothing but they collected £94 instead of £79 pounds quoted. I will be taking this forward as this a dodgy firm! Avoid at all cost.

Immersion heater was broken so rang up in the morning to get it sorted as no hot water. Was told that they would arrive by 2. Didn't arrive - everntually turned up past 5pm. Plumber told us he wasn't told it was immersion heater problem so didn't have the parts. However said they would get out first thing tomorrow to fix around 9am latest 11. Waiting the next day no-one arrives ring up to be told that no-one will be with us that afternoon. We were booked with friends to go out so couldn't. As a Saturday no available appointments till Monday. So left w/o hot water for three days, when could have rung someone else and got it sorted on the Friday.
