“The prices from power tools direct are very very good but getting the items posted out to me seems to be a very slow process and i am still waiting for an order.”

“Have made 2 orders recently (both for floor adhesive), both gave a delivery date when ordering (“order in x hours/minutes for delivery by date”), but both were delayed by almost a week. I wasn’t notified of either delay. I got in contact with their customer service the first time (didn't bother the second time) - who did respond very quickly - as I hadn't heard anything the morning of the supposed delivery day, and they said that they're still awaiting the arrival of the goods. If the items in the order were out of stock and that more were on their way - or ordered specially from the supplier - this either should've been made clear in the item description or I should've received an email to notify me of this. Very basic level of information that customers should be provided!”

“Ordered products on the 21.11.25 still waiting for delivery on the 2.12.25. Emailed power tools-poor email response with no explanation to delay Phoned and emailed on the 2.12.25 no response from powertools. Will not use again nor would I recommend them. Item not received in time stated and looks like the items will not be delivered. Now trying to get my money back”

“Ordered an item and paid for gast track courier delivery. Four working days later as it hadn’t arrived I emailed PTD and received a reply stating they had supply issues and were sure I would be understanding and they would advise me when it was being dispatched. No offer to chase up or refund the extra postage costs. Three days later, item was delivered by Courier without any advanced warning. Item is fine but if you are going to charge a premium for delivery, you ( literally) need to deliver that.”

“Look at all these fake 5 star reviews, amazing how they get away with it. Website claims they have over £50 million pounds worth of stock, yet Companies House shows they hold stock assets of £229k, quite a difference. Considering the massive delay from point of order to delivery, one might believe they are just an Aliexpress based trans-shipping company. Dont get tricked by the cheap prices, and if you want to wait 2 weeks for parts, just order them from Aliexpress yourself.”

“Avoid this company like the plague. Paid for item next day delivery on a Saturday. Didn’t expect it Monday but atlleast by Tuesday over a week. Excuse after excuse. Don’t waste your time”

“NOT AT ALL IMPRESSED. VERY MISLEADING ADVERTSING. THE GOODS WERE IN STOCK AND AVAILABLE.TWO DELIVERY OPTIONS OFFERED. 2-3 DAYS SELECTED AT ADDITIONAL COST. AFTER 3 DAYS NO DELIVERY RECEIVED AND NO NOTIFICATION OF PROBLEMS . ON QUERYING WAS INFORMED THAT DELIVERY TIME QUOTED IS THE TIME AFTER DESPATCH (IN THE SMALL PRINT) NOT FROM PLACING THE ORDER AND PAYING FOR THE GOODS. THE GOODS HAD STILL NOT BEEN DESPATCHED !!!!!!!
