Overall I’m happy however some parts lack quality. For example the bracket the motor sit on already has a failed weld. This was found whilst aligning the pulleys, I’m not happy about this as I am a mechanical technician and work on industrial sized equipment.

No issue with both the quality and price of the long handled garden trowel and forkI purchased. The disappointment was in the quality of the packaging which was basically a bin liner with tape round it resulting in the blade of the trowel sticking out of the end. Fortunately it wasn’t damaged

Website is great, order was well packaged and arrived promptly. Only problem was, it was a Christmas present. So only opened today. Only to find one item had been substituted or incorrectly picked. So ended up with the incorrect item. Which happens to be cheaper than the one I ordered. Have sent an email to customer services. So hopefully this can be resolved shortly.

As far as I know, PTD have kept to their side of the consumer contract. However, I suggest they reconsider the company they choose for delivery. DHL have been hopeless- delivery dates which weren't met and no collection code for collection. Went 3 times to try and collect. In the end the newsagent just handed the item over as, despite lengthy phonecalls, we could only make contact with DHL's agent who couldn't supply a collection code. A really frustrating experience which would (probably unfairly) prevent me from ordering from Power Tools Direct again!

Despite paying for express postage I had to chase them up for my delivery. Then it came the next day. Goods were fine.

Item received. Working perfect. Just delivery option was not really like described. Should received up to 2-3 days but received in 4th day. I will con complain about this if I don't need pay extra cost for the 2-3 days option

No trouble at all with Power tools direct But the courier DPD usless! The box the item was delivered in open on arrival Given to the wrong house Delivery card saying it was left with a neighbour, Put through another wrong house. If I didnt live in a small close, The parcel could of got lost

Very slow in dispatching an item that was in stock. Ordered on a Monday and not shown dispatched until the Thursday

Didn't get the head torch I ordered - I know this because I ordered 1 that I already have that I charge with USB but the one sent was batteries- I ppen the package before I compared oops

When I received my package the box was damaged and must have been damaged before it was sent as it had PowerPoint take used to make the repair. When I unpacked the kettle the plug was broken so I had to replace it.

Delivery took ages, items could have been better packaged- arrived chipped and scuffed but wasn't too big an issue.

Drill OK, but one battery failed within six months. Replaced under warranty but after 16 months the charger failed. Batteries were stiff to fit in the charger from the beginning. Disappointing!

The payment form was a problem. It took a couple of days to get it to accept me entering my details. I was very close to giving up altogether and going to another supplier. I contacted Power Tools Direct several times but they seemed unable to help. Finally, I must just have clicked on the precise place on the line to enter my details and it worked. No explanation. Weird! The tools arrived very quickly once I had made my payment.

I received a sealey tool trolley, which was damaged and broken, contacted them by email and they were quick to sort the problem out... I was told the trolley came straight from manufacturer... so not power tools direct at fault but there customer services was good.

bolts missing from motor fixings , had to source some and take apart to reassemble , apart from that good low price compared to machine mart , works ok
