“Service let down by slow delivery. I paid extra for express delivery, and given a timeframe of 4-5 days for delivery. It actually took 9 days to arrive.”

“Shipping is the slowest in the business. Often holding orders with out of stock items unbeknownst to customer. But they have great deals on bulk Reisser screws. Make sure to order a month in advance of when you need the product”

“Found the products at good price, although when it came to checkout, it didn't work contacted the sales team who weren't very helpful. tried for 4 days then they eventually gave another option to pay. Fast delivery but, wasted 4 days”

“Good prices but problems with the express delivery. Only got one box of two initially. Fed Ex must have forgotten to get the other one out of the van. Contacted Power Tools Direct, email the only option, no phone contact available. They replied quickly they would look into it. I gave it 24 hours and sent a follow up with no reply. However Fed Ex finally got their act together and delivered the second package, battered from its adventure, later that day. I would have thought Power Tools Direct would have at least apologised for me paying for express delivery and not getting it.”

“Easy to order & make payment, but disappointed with the Customer Service. Although part of my order was refunded, there was no communication or apology regarding the parts of my order that couldn't be fulfilled. Would I order again? Maybe if the price was right, but sadly wouldn't be my first choice.”

“PowerTools were OK but it was Fedex who badly let them down. We paid for next day delivery and it never came having been promised all day by their tracking service that it would be there. Same the next day so we cancelled. Power Tools told Fedex to deliver it back to them but - you've guessed - they delivered it to us. In the meantime we ordered from elsewhere and they were true to the word and delivered the next day. Fedex are truly hopeless.”

“I made a mistake in inputting the delivery address online and found the customer service to be very ineffective in correcting that before it was dispatched, so there was a delay in delivery to the correct address by 3 days but it was sorted in the end without additional charges. The correct order did arrive. Although the packaging seemed good, there was some damage to the end tip of the sealants but this did not affect the use of the product this time.”

“Great price for hybrid silicon although others match it. Paid paid extra to get next day £9 and got it 4 days later. This is exactly the reason amazon are taking over all commerce. Some businesses don’t put nearly enough effort into shipping once order is in”

“Powertools direct provided an average service which was let down badly by their very poor courier(DHL) provider, I paid the extra cost for a fast next-day service however it took DHL 5 or 6 days to delivery my item. I did contact Powertools to ask about my delivery and they did reply to me to say they would talk to the courier and get back to myself, alas Powertools direct not get back to me.”
