“Great Web site and range off tools. Very pleased with the quality of the faithfull tools ordered. Communication was good too but the only downfall was there carrier service, called the shop after a week chasing the delivery and apparently there was 2 attempted deliveries, there was no slip left to advise me off this with the carrier, ended up driving to Coventry to collect 80 mile round trip from Loughborough. So payed for delivery and had to pay out for fuel costs and time, a bit rubbish. A refund on the delivery would of been a nice gesture to cover the fuel cost. Pleased with the goods but would not use again because of there chosen carrier due to the urgency off the goods.”

“The service from the Power Tools Direct website was satisfactory as was the product purchased, but the carrier, Interlink, made little effort to find our property on the first attempt to deliver. I had paid for express delivery but did not receive the item until 6 days after ordering because of the bank holiday. Perhaps the company should consider using a different courier.”

“Bulldog Aluminium Hay Rake. Very satisfied with product but disappointed with delivery time. Ordered early in day and paid extra for express delivery but still took 3 days Sussex to Worcestershire.”

“Although my product arrived on time..I was disspaointed with the website due to misleading communications on the delivery cost. I spent over £100 and believed my delivery would then ben free - when I phoned up I was told that I didn't get the free delivery as it was liquids. I feed that this is quite unfair and given I had spent ovber £100 nwith you I would of expected free or a discounted delivery service.”

“Website was good. Delivery and payment OK. Product: Faithfull Plastic Trestles (Set 2) Height 82cm x Length 57cm, is flawed design. A lug broke off one of the trestles stays that hold it in the open position.”

“Whereas power tools direct was new to me and having only recently discovered their website for the first time the product I purchased , namely a euro cylinder lock, did not meet my requirements in way of adequately securing the door to my home. Indeed the product proved as useless as the previous cylinder lock which i had replaced. I don't believe I have any complaints with power tools direct though who were relatively prompt in their delivery, affordable and courteous enough to enquire with follow up emails as to my customer satisfaction.”

“One tin of paint damaged when the box was thrown over side gate by delivery service - citylink. Paint leaked from tin but fortunately the paint remained inside the box. This is disappointing but the product itself was what I expected.”

“Good prices for products but delivery is slow. Advertised 'next day' delivery then offered 1-2 day express delivery which costs extra. My items still took 4 days to arrive. A great website if you're not in any rush for your products.”

Hi Brian, unfortunately as your order was not placed until after 12 on the Thursday it would not have been shipped until the Friday. The next day service is only next working day, as is normal for a next day carrier service, so your order was delivered on the Monday as per our terms and conditions for the next day service. “Very prompt delivery. When unpacked the contents [a 5L tin of wood preservative] was found to be severely dented. Packaging was far too thin and needs to be improved to withstand rough handling by couriers.”

“I placed my order on Sunday and had to phone customers services twice to make sure my order would be delivered by the following Wednesday. I paid extra to have the items delivered in 1-2 days maximum. Aparantlly this is only after the order is processed. Andrew Stokes”

“I first tried it out on a side wall of an alcove. I found the spray gun heavy, but I was able to cover the wall quickly and evenly. I was pleased with it, until I noticed that the spray had reached far behind the short alcove wall, and sprayed little dots of paint on everything behind it from the television in the left hand corner of the main wall to the doorway on the adjacent wall to the one I had intentionally sprayed, and everything in between, i.e. the window, a set of small tables, an easy chair and a lamp. Luckily, although time consuming, everything cleaned up fairly easily. I realized afterwards that I had the air level set too high. I reduced the air flow to do the back wall of the alcove, but it was a much slower process, and it was more difficult to distinguish between what I had painted and what I hadn't. I also had to keep stopping because the spray gun was too heavy. The machine is really only suitable for a man or a strong woman. The strap on the main part wasn't necessary. I think it would have been more useful fitted to the spray gun. I haven't rated it because, as a woman, I found it difficult to use, but I think a man would give it a high rating.”

“Tools (scriber and centre punch) arrived after 8 days (6 working days). The online system didnt confirm a despatch until 3 working days had passed so it wasnt a postal delay. The tools seem OK, but I haven't used them as I had to borrow toold to get the job done.”
