“Excellent product and despatch time however let down by the courier service UK Mail.I paid for express delivery,parcel was due to arrive on Wednesday 2nd December but despite 2 text messages with a time slot package did not arrive till Friday .I paid for a service that I did not receive.I know it is not Power Tools fault but that is why I scored lower than I would have.Your service has been let down by the courier.Suggest you review the courier service you use.”

“Price for the decking paint was good. Delivery was not so good. Promised information regarding shipping and tracking number never materialised until we chased, after the delivery date promised. We stayed in waiting for a delivery that had not even been put onto the lorry, very poor. Need to sharpen up with the information regarding delivery, you promise so much on your website, which is why we bought from you, and yet you failed to provide the information and left a sour taste..... Must do better.”

“Having paid the extra for fast delivery I was pleased that my delivery arrived the next day. Unfortunately I was not in and the goods were not left. I had tracked my delivery to avoid this before leaving home. The tracking link added to my purchasing email told me that my goods had not yet arrived with them. When I returned home I had the missed delivery slip posted through my door. It came from a different delivery company than the link in the email. I was then able to track my items and arrange for the delivery to come the next day. This issue aside my items were as ordered and I was unable to purchase them from Homebase, Wickes, Frank Keys, B&Q, Wilkinsons and Boyes.”

“Happy with the product and price. I paid for fast delivery (2 days) but my items did not appear. I called PTD to inquire where my product was. I received an email to say that it had to come from the warehouse, and that was the delay. I received my product two days later.”

“Having a definite delivery day/date would have been a lot less hassle. I couldn't have two days off work and so after it was not delivered the first day I had to rearrange to deliver to another address. There is no where at my address to leave any deliveries. Please do not offer 1-2 day delivery. Offer something more concrete. Thank you”

“I ordered on Monday afternoon of last week, Ronseal paint on fast delivery. I specifically asked if it would be delivered by Wednesday because I would not be around for a few days. I was assured it would be or I would not have ordered it then. It did not come on Wednesday and I finally got the paint redelivered on Monday of this week. So much for paying for fast delivery!”

Hi Pat, it does look like the order was unfortunately a day late in being shipped out which has caused the issue. You have been refunded for the express delivery charge and I am very sorry for any inconvenience this delay has caused you

“The service was very good ,good communication but the price with the delivery charge added on was too high ,considering there was other sellers a lot cheaper and free postage delivery ,to be honest I didnt realise there was a charge on delivery but it was too late ,I had already purchased the product.But apart from the price being too high it was a decent service.”

“The reason for normal rating was because I paid extra for the 1-2 days delivery and got the 3-5 days delivery service, tried calling only to be faced with answer machine and reply by email message! Can't be bothered to waste time chasing the £3 difference, you just have thought they would have reimbursed me automatically following the apology email, but they haven't!”
