Well I was not happy with the service as we had to wait 7 days for our product to be delivered and when it did arrive it did not do what we wanted it to do so it was a waste of money.

Item did not arrive when expected ( UK mail problem!!) phoned twice promised delivery again did not arrive. Item just arrived the day after it was needed to be taken elseware. Not a good result.

No problem with this company however their courier UK MAIL are useless. They delivered the order to a different address who were out so their neighbour over the road took delivery. Then realised the parcel was not for her neighbour. Out of kindness she brought the parcel to my house later that evening. Courier never even answered my emails. So my advice is find a new courier as UK MAIL are complete rubbish.

The wrong product was sent and it was frustrating trying to arrange for a quick delivery of the correct one and collection of the incorrect order. After Sales Support never answered the 'phone, I left a number of messages. They did respond to emails I sent but were rather tardy. I have finally received the correct order but a very frustrating and annoying experience and I won't be in a hurry to use them again.

Goods arrived on time but wrong model. Did the same job but not what what ordered or printed on delivery note.

My purchase was dispatched to the wrong address (a business unknown to me), and I had chase up what had happened to my order. Once that was sorted, the delivery was very prompt.

The problem I have with writing this review is the fact that the staff were very helpful and courteous however the promissed delivery shcedules were not so good,I was let down with delivery dates for a particularly urgent piece of machinery on 3 occasions,and whilst I appreciate that they were probably let down by their supplier I would have accepted a longer/more realistic lead time or sourced elsewhere if Ihad been informed of this in the first place.(it felt that i was given a prompt delivery schedule just to secure the order).That said I would probably use Power tools direct again as when i did eventualy get the goods I was sattisfied with the equipment.I think a learning curve for PTD would be to give more accurate information in the first instance so as to avoid irate customers.

The tool worked fine but found it a little heavy. The dellivery good, so overall the the whole experience from your company was good.

This is the third year that I have used PowerTools Direct for my decking stain and the only time that I have had problems. I paid for express delivery only to find two days later when I rang that the order had not been processed. The express delivery fee was refunded but only part of the order was delivered the following day and had to again chase for completion of the order. Very annoying because the weather had by this time changed for the worse. Andrew at PowerTools Direct did all he could to correct the problems and he was very professional in doing so.

Great prices... and previously Great service.... HOWEVER..... The page from which I ordered my paint an this occasion clearly stated orders over £75 get free delivery... I was charged £10-95 !!.. (No where does it state that liquids are excluded)....It stated Next day delivery when I ordered at 08-00 on Thursday but it didn't arrive until Monday !!... It was explained that 1 tin was not in stock... but I was not informed of the delay. My latest order of paint (Order 100122812 ) was again ordered at 08-00 on Thursday 12th by phone and was told everything was in stock... but I have received a tracking advice which states delivery due MONDAY 16th !!!! As a company you are clearly NOT " doing what it says on the tin!!!!" It appears there is false/misleading information in order to encourage sale..... please change as the company and service are usually too good for underhanded tactics.

We ordered two tins of Cuprinol Decking Stain in City Stone, unfortunately one tin arrived slightly damaged. Also appears to be a slightly more orangey colour than cans originally purchased over a year ago.

Paid for express delivery but did not recieve this service. I had to chase my order only to be told that there was a delay at the warehouse due to the bank holiday, so the item I was expecting to have recieved before or on the Thursday in readiness for my holiday the following day, did not arrive untill the Friday evening. This left me no choice but to borrow the tool needed for my caravan and arrange delevery to a neighbour. Very disappointing service and an inconvenience to myself.

I've only put average because although the product I bought was less expensive than elsewhere it did take a little longer to arrive than the stated delivery.

We received our order on the wrong day so it was left with a neighbour. We had rearranged delivery online for Friday and it arrived on Wednesday when we were out!! However, one of the large canisters of fence paint was leaking in the box and it was too inconvenient to return it! Not used the items yet so hope they all OK as disappointed with damaged packaging and mess!!

Order Thursday arrived Tuesday had paid for express delivery(1-2days) I know there was a weekend I between but it was more than 2 working days Other than that part was as ordered and advertised. Would use again but not pay extra for postage
