“Product was good, delivery was very bad even though I paid extra for fast delivery. Unfortunately would not use you again due to this. So not happy!!!!”

“Ordered 7.00 a.m. Thursday, next working day delivery to store. One would think Friday? Was phoned Tuesday. Went in to collect the next day. Items still all in boxes that hadn't been undone yet. Your order is not packaged together, separate from other people's. So was phoned Thursday to say that 2 items that belonged to my order had been found and could I collect them. On the other hand the staff are pleasant and the items very cheap. If my orders had been packaged at the warehouse in the first place, with my name on them that would have been better for both the shop staff and myself.”

Hi John, our shipping costs use the delivery postcode as well as a number of other factors to determine the shipping cost. You are able to enter this postcode at the shopping basket stage to estimate the delivery cost. When paying by PayPal the delivery address is taken from your PayPal details and hence you are returned to our site before the order is finally submitted by pressing the submit button back on our site. There is nothing dishonest about the process. You have pressed the submit button after seeing the summary of all charges and the total amount to be taken

“No problem with this company however their courier UK MAIL are useless. They delivered the order to a different address who were out so their neighbour over the road took delivery. Then realised the parcel was not for her neighbour. Out of kindness she brought the parcel to my house later that evening. Courier never even answered my emails. So my advice is find a new courier as UK MAIL are complete rubbish.”

“The wrong product was sent and it was frustrating trying to arrange for a quick delivery of the correct one and collection of the incorrect order. After Sales Support never answered the 'phone, I left a number of messages. They did respond to emails I sent but were rather tardy. I have finally received the correct order but a very frustrating and annoying experience and I won't be in a hurry to use them again.”

“The problem I have with writing this review is the fact that the staff were very helpful and courteous however the promissed delivery shcedules were not so good,I was let down with delivery dates for a particularly urgent piece of machinery on 3 occasions,and whilst I appreciate that they were probably let down by their supplier I would have accepted a longer/more realistic lead time or sourced elsewhere if Ihad been informed of this in the first place.(it felt that i was given a prompt delivery schedule just to secure the order).That said I would probably use Power tools direct again as when i did eventualy get the goods I was sattisfied with the equipment.I think a learning curve for PTD would be to give more accurate information in the first instance so as to avoid irate customers.”
