“As far as I know, PTD have kept to their side of the consumer contract. However, I suggest they reconsider the company they choose for delivery. DHL have been hopeless- delivery dates which weren't met and no collection code for collection. Went 3 times to try and collect. In the end the newsagent just handed the item over as, despite lengthy phonecalls, we could only make contact with DHL's agent who couldn't supply a collection code. A really frustrating experience which would (probably unfairly) prevent me from ordering from Power Tools Direct again!”

“Cant be bothered to go it to it all again what I will say is that only using email as a communication is bad business I can understand letting your staff work from home but only if it doesn't customers contacting you having at least one in the office to answer the phone would be a very good idea”

“Just what I wanted at a competitive price. Fast delivery. I was disappointed that it was delivered in its original box so it arrived very bashed with loads of sellotape as it's a practical gift for Xmas! Not tested yet but I'm sure it'll be fine.”

“When the order hadn't arrived I tried contacting them to be told by a voicemail that all employees were working from home and that I had to email my query. I received an email.the following day to be told the items hadn't even been sent. I needed them for my business which meant I had to disappoint customers. They finally arrived 15 days after I ordered them. It was my 1st order with them and will definitely be my last.”
