Terrible service! Ongoing issue as a wrong item had been packaged and I did not receive what I ordered, also the incorrect tool which had been packaged did not turn up with the other items I ordered. Spoke to customer service and as far as they are concerned, they want nothing to do with the problem as the cctv footage shows an incorrect item being placed in the box but did not arrive with my other items! First they said it had been packaged correctly and 4 of your colleges looked at the cctv. As soon as I seen the cctv which was sent by email to myself, I could tell straight away that was the wrong item! I am being constantly told as far as they are concerned they have Packaged the correct item and sent it as cctv footage shows but in fact it is wrong and I am still without the item I have purchased. Your college have told me that I have to contact the police as it’s a theft issue. I don’t believe this is correct as I have since spoken to the police and they have advised me that power took mate have broken there contract and is a civil matter.

my order was placed on the 18/12/21 one of my tools was a dewalt rail saw which came in the form of a flexvolt blower.I spoke to Ben in the office on 21/12/21 who said it would be sorted after the christmas break. no contact received so emailed on 5/1/22 still no reply, so i rang on 8/1/22 and left a message and still no contact. Each time i left the order reference number 170990. I dont leave negative reviews but on this occasion i will as im a little narked at having a blower worth about £60 less than the saw was.

My tools where not delivered to the correct address, they are still not In my possession, what is the next step into finding out where they went ?? I am offshore on a oil rig,so I am only contactable through email

Dpd are useless and never deliver on time, lie that they’ve been and then when they finally do deliver then it’s not even at your own property! Called company, no replacement and no apology until later when I called a woman in the office that DID actually chase it up as the earlier male person didn’t return my call! I’m wanting a refund as I’m not stopping home for 2 days waiting for something from an inept company and courier service!! I hop my refund will be back into the bank by the end of Wednesday!

Received an inappropriate letter in my previous Parcel. Contacted directly by phone and the caught the perpetrators. As a good will they promised discount if I was to ever order again. Ordered again and apparently their system has changed and they have no record of any complaints.Well here's your letter to remind you..

Spent 660 quid on tools for a customer of ours, still has not arrived I know that may not be all your fault but I did pay for the quick delivery to serve my customer and he has not had his tools, I would suggest not to use DPD delivery and take it up with them with immediate effect, on the upside your website is easy to navigate around and easy to use so marks on that but this delivery situation is apuling

Purchased £600+ of tools, paid extra for priority delivery. Tools arrived as planned, the angle grinder sent out was the wrong type, sent back to powertool mate after speaking to them about it. 2 weeks went by and I heard nothing and received no replacement item. Phoned them up and they said they’ll send it out the following day. They sent me a credit note for the tool on question and when it entails showed up over 2 weeks after paying for priority delivery, I asked how can I redeem this credit note and I was told it was a mistake and they will not even reimburse the extra postage I paid for! Very poorly ran business, go to FFX instead!

Wouldn’t ever buy from again. Item was late being delivered, had to chase. Item didn’t come from Power Tool Mate but came direct from another company. Tool did not come in original box from the manufacturer, just came loose with the manual thrown inside. Customer service was poor and not helpful. Very rude.

At first PTM seemed great, good prices and a great website. But sadly the background customer service was very poor. I selected the 3-5 day delivery option but after 5 working days I still hadn’t heard anything. I emailed asking for an update and received a very poor email back basically saying they didn’t know when they would be dispatching using Black Friday as an excuse. I emailed back asking for an eta for a tool vital for my business. Over 2 weeks later eventually received an invoice but still no delivery date and 2 days later a dispatch notification for DPD next day. I feel the product and ordering is good, the processing of orders requires a lot of work and would suggest someone is allocated to handle emails better.
