“The Call Center people are the worst. First, I called to reserve a unit, and even though I didn't need it for a week, I offered to pay for it that day.. They say "oh no, you don't have to do that. I get an email that says my move in rate will be 25$ because of their "special." Then I get a call from the property manager but can't answer the phone. I call back - it goes straight to VM- I thought I left a message but no class back. I called again on the day I am supposed to pay and same thing. So I call the 833 number - sit on hold for 35 minutes. Start to tell the person the issue (starting with, I have tried to call the site with no luck) and I realize the person I am speaking to wasn't listening because she very rudely got snippy with me saying -- "they tried to call you several time (NO THEY didn't) and the unit is gone" I tried to say something and she cut me off and basically told me that it was my fault and all I could do is call the site - I said again that the number that I keep calling goes to VM to which she responded "I'll just dial it" when the site manager picked up, I tried to ask the cust. service person what number she dialed and she just hung up. Second. The site manager on Ebenezer rd. in Rock Hill, SC was great and helped get me into another unit at the same price - but then she hit me with the "fees" that the 833 sales people won’t tell you about and my 25$ move in rate and 81$ a month quickly became a 61$ move in rate and 96$ a month. And of course, I am stuck! I am moving and have to have a storage unit this week. So I will be using it for at least a month”

“9742 The customer service at the Owings Mills facility next to RoFo is outstanding. The gentlemen that signed me up had company knowledge, outstanding customer service skill, and charm despite my complaint about the company's insurance policy. My experience with Public Storage is far superior to my contact with Extra Space Storage.”

“Public Storage on 150 in Hoover is awesome. Very clean and well keep. Your property is safe and you are safe when you are onsite. The staff is very helpful and professional.”

“I am not happy. For almost six years I paid for the smallest one they had. The price went up every. Year. Then someone tried to break in and they wanted me to change the lock. I am 74 and don’t drive. Ok I think they changed the lock but never sent me a key. I couldn’t get in the gate so the office had to do it. The lady in the office was new but she did what she could. Her name is Dee property number 08394 Oregon City”

“NEVER USE PUBLIC STORAGE. They are con artists . Charge u before a full MONTH IS OVER WITH. Charge unnecessary fees . Fraud company. Steals your belonging. Break locks . Can’t say I didn’t worn you.”

“I received a message that my unit rate was being increased from $18 a month to $37 a month. I called the customer service number, and someone called me back. I told her that I needed to understand how and why this was happening. She talked about market value and how the contract renews from month to month, at which time the rate may increase. I asked “Does that mean you can change my rate in one month and again in three months and again in five months?“ She answered yes. I thanked her for calling me back and explaining. And then she hung up on me. I don’t understand why she felt the need to end the call so disrespectfully. Maybe she didn’t like having to disclose the con. Still annoyed that she felt some kind of way even though she gets a paycheck. Clearly I’m gonna have to stop giving them a portion of mine. Public Storage, this sucks! Do better.”

“Public Storage at 16217 N Dale Mabry Hwy has excellent customer service the management genuinely cares about their customers and will do everything to make using their spaces a pleasant experience. The facility is spotless, affordable and open 24 hours a day.”

“Rodents destroyed property and Public Storage said I had to clean out the unit. I had expose myself to deadly diseases because Public Storage did not take care of their rodent infestation. I do not know why they expected me to clean out the unit after my property was destroyed. We were threatened with monthly fees and cleaning fees if we left the items that were ruined by the rodents living at the storage unit. Not only did I lose property, but I also was penalized for being a victim of their infestation. I am disgusted by Public Storage even more than I was disgusted by the rat feces and urine.”
