“Ordered 7 tonnes of aggregate but only 5 tonnes arrived. Paid for a Saturday delivery extra and had paid help at hand to complete work. Got my money back for the extra gravel but not for the Saturday delivery. I was out of pocket as help still required payment. Very disappointed with level of customer service and support.”

“I ordered my turf from Quality Garden Supplies and it was delivered on the scheduled day. It seemed quite dry underneath so I laid it straight away. After a week it developed a couple of brown patches and wasn't very green, so I increased the watering giving it a lot heavier dowsings, twice a day for the first week. My first waterings obviously weren't soaking in deep enough. I doused it once a day heavily in the second week, and every couple of days in the third week. Now I have a lovely deep green, lush lawn. The brown patches have disappeared completely, and it's so beautiful that I can't stop admiring it.”

“The turf was awful...had clearly been cut much earlier and when I received it 40m2 over half of it was dead! Shocking I will never use the company again!”

“They sent the wrong type of sand for our sandpit which has ruined the children's clothes. No response to phone calls and emails to try and get it replaced with the sandpit sand that we paid for.”

“I ordered pebble stones that were supposed to be river bed stones. The order was poor quality and there were lots of broken stones. I contacted the company but they refused to do anything. The product purchased was inferior to other stones previously ordered from other companies. Not a quality product or service.”

“The product was as described and just the job. However, needed a specific day delivery so took advise from a representative and went for next day at additional £8, and specified delivery day, even though it was 4 days hence. However was delivered a day early and left at bottom of driveway restricting access to drive. When I contacted customer care team to understand why this had happened Michelle could not care less and was not interested in the inconvenience caused to me. As far as she was concerned it was delivered job done. It is a shame when people/companies do not take pride in customer care. I believe the sign of a good company is not being perfect, but taking an interest in put thing right when it goes wrong.”

“Firstly the call handler ordered the wrong product despite me quoting at least twice the requirement we needed. Had to get the gardener to replace order and yet another call to get refund on the first product. All in all a nightmare experience. Topsoil came on time but we paid £10 to make sure it came on the date we wanted. Unfortunately the topsoil was full of large stones so took ages to distribute on lawn and anticipate will take hours to rake them off before we can think about mowing if we want a blade left on the mower.”

“Beautiful rich dark topsoil, a shame our delivery didn't arrive until 5.30 as we had turf we wanted to lay with the soil, hence it had to wait until the next day, and it was cut to order the day before that.”
