“I purchased a voucher as a gift for a couple. I didn’t want to buy a pack to restrict what they were able to purchase. The problem with vouchers is that when sending this, you are unable to customise a message to send with it. Considering these are mainly purchased as gifs for other people, not being able to send with a note to someone is a major flaw. The recipient receives the vouchers not knowing who sent them unless you give this personally. I had to tell the person in advance of the gift and who sent it. Also I was not able to know if the letter/ info was going to be addressed to myself or the delivery person. Please make it possible to add a gift message when sending all products!”

“It was easy to order and send, however I didn’t get any confirmation it was dispatched or delivered. Considering it was a gift for someone some form of update would have been nice as it lead to worry that the gift wasn’t going to be delivered on time”

“My husband got a red letter day gift for a 4 by 4 experience in Dorset which he was excited about. When covid hit it was obvious that he couldn't use the voucher but it was open for a year so when restrictions were lifted he booked the experience with the company red letter day use. He got confirmation and details of the date and time via email One week prior to the day he got an email reminding him that he had an experience booked and it reminded him of the day and time. We travelled to Dorset and after the 2 hour drive we got to the farm to find it deserted......we eventually found someone on the farm who said that the company had ceased trading a long time ago and several people had turned up over the last month the same as us i was mortified, if this was the case why were we not contacted to say this, why did they send an email reminder a week prior and why can you still book this place via their website! interestingly the email also stated that we had to give 2 weeks notice to cancel or we lost our money I would NEVER use red letter days again because of this experience, i know covid hit some retailers but there should be a system to contact those who booked experiences that cant run and refund issued This was a birthday gift....so if you are expecting a good day and a great surprise be warned of our experience”

“Simple to book. Lots of lovely offers. Good pricing and prompt delivery by post and online vouchers. Only slight criticism is that I didn’t get the detailed information for one event I’d chosen, I chose 7 so understand it may have been misplaced. I have emailed customer service a couple of days ago so hope to hear soon as even though I have the evoucher I’d like the card. Highly recommend!!!!!”

“It was good to find such a variety of ideas to choose from. My choice of a photography experience at Woburn, for my son’s fortieth birthday, was just perfect. I would just like to add that although the quick postage was excellent- it was expensive !”

“Have purchased Red Letter treats for my Daughter and daughter in laws for their birthdays. They were thrilled to receive this experience but has not used them yet. They all said that it sounds really exciting being pampered and to round it off with a lovely afternoon tea. Will write another review when they have used their birthday gifts.”

“Had one as a gift for 40th wedding anniversary for a dining delights meal have tried 3venues in East Sussex and all not accepting voucher but clearly advertised as available on red letter website , I have informed them several times and still not updated website so my advice is buy a voucher directly at chosen venue if possible also much better value .”
