Bought a voucher for the arcelor mittal orbit. I dont think RLD works for this attraction. You cant book through the website, instead you have to email the orbit, but their response time is 24-48 hours or phone, and noone is answering. Seems easier to book direct

Soooo….got a red letter day £150 birthday present for a night stay away, couldn’t find anything we liked so decided to pay an extra £200 for a track day, October 2021. Been trying to book something for 8 months and never any availability unless I want to drive a mini around a track for an extra £40. Now changed to another red letter day for an extra £10. Fingers crossed that I actually get to do something. Waste of money Waste of time.

I wanted to discuss buying several experiences for a major charity but the web site does not allow that and there is no way to contact Red Letter days. Pathetic effort and lack of business acumen.

I would give zero stars if I could I had a voucher for a 2 night hotel break. Booking a hotel for 2 nights was impossible, changed it to one night with dinner. Been trying to book since February. No hotels are available, no one contacts me from Red Letter. Still unable to book anything. Avoid at all costs. Our voucher runs out in July. Did not try before February because of covid restrictions etc Red Letter are always promising to contact me and no one ever has

My wife gave me 4 "experiences" as a Christmas present. The vouchers arrived in time. When you read the reviews the 5* are almost all are for prompt delivery and the 1* are from people who used, or tried to use, the vouchers. The initial part on the Red Letter Day site is O.K. but when it comes to finding available dates and booking the box says "Email". You are then left to track down the Email address of the provider, find when they can provide the experience and then contact them to make a booking. In one case I was taken to the site of another experience provider who required a mass of personal information to register with them (For future spamming?) including my 18 digit reference, my pin and my name 3 times, and my address twice; only to be told that there are no available dates during the life of the voucher (November) and they will send me a weekly update until they have managed to get a date. Will this be their advertising leaflet? Will I end up with a "take it or loose it" date in Aberdeen or Plymouth. So far I've wasted 2hrs 45 minutes going round in circles. Red Letter Day - joke

Have booked red letter hotels experiences for years. My latest booking now has additional charge to cover the hotel excess which is more than the price paid for the advertised hotel night experience. Goodbye red letter days

Very poor. Advertise a ‘spa day’ using the word ‘day’ five times. It turns out to be one hour only. When confronted they refuse to provide what was offered and paid for. This is clear breach of contract but they don’t care and make excuses and blame the hotel. Disreputable and shoddy behaviour.

I bought my Husband and Son the Supercar experience for Christmas. What they do not tell you is that insurance is NOT included in the price?? How ridiculous is that? Hubby has just booked the day for them both. On top of the £370 it cost me, he has had to pay £45 each insurance and (ok it’s optional) £20 each cancellation waiver. Also the choice of cars is apparently pretty limited and he has had to pay extra for his choice of car. It would be nice if all this had been explained when booking. I am now extremely embarrassed that my Husband has had to pay in excess of another £250 to get their perfect day. I shan’t be booking again.

In my opinion RLD are not value for money. I had a package bought for me at nearly £200, for a 2 night stay with meal. I spent hours trying to find anywhere in the UK that was acceptable at our price, without success. The places I found were sub standard cheapies and the areas I wanted to visit had no coverage. We eventually paid nearly the same again in cash to top up our voucher and get a 2 night stay with "luxury meal" What we got was a restricted menu as we were RLD customers, seated outside the restaurant, which was closed on our night , in the bar/reception area ! some luxury, we really were second class customers in their eyes. I have of course complained to RLD, but no response to date. Buyer Beware!

I have had a 100% unsatisfactory experience of RLD. The voucher proves impossible to redeem. A series of phone numbers are given which prove unobtainable. A complaint led to an eventual reply giving a number to ring but once more this number is an unobtainable number. I would caution anyone against booking with RLD

Upgraded to a different day and had to pay an extra £25. This has been taken out of our bank twice. Obviously mistakes happen but contacting them, either by phone or online just seems impossible. I think the relatively good reviews for RLD on here say as much about trustpilot as they do RLD.

If you want to or need to speak to a live person dont deal with this company. If you want a live chat via their web site it does not exist. Considering their web site advises you to phone if you have a problem. Wish I had never been given this voucher.

Changed and upgraded Quadruple Supercar Blast to the Two Night Inviting Break with Dinner for Two. This experience indicated that the Village Hotel was on the list for Glasgow. (Using the map on 'your' website page). Once we purchased the Two Night Inviting Break with Dinner for Two voucher, the Village Hotel in Glasgow isn't available. Even selecting random dates to see if this hotel is available shows that this hotel is never available. A bit 'misleading' no matter how you read the 'Terms and Conditions'

Pray that no one is stupid enough to gives you these worthless vouchers. Paid several times to extend the spend time only to waffled when I had problems. Should be shut down as con merchants. Seriously avoid but if you are unfortunate to have vouches from these individuals sell them on to somebody you don’t like ASAP

The whole voucher thing is a blooming con. I shudder to think how much money you make from unredeemed vouchers. We have begged friends and families NEVER to bother giving us these infernal vouchers. The process to redeem a voucher is ridiculous and interminable. Eventually you get some other bunch of numbers and then have to contact your venue of choice directly and then they only do red letter days in November . Bloody November, who the hell wants a beach getaway in bloody November . Total flipping con
