Great price. Consistently came out as cheapest on comparison sites. Price paid was what they told me unlike some others where after going to the site and checking all the details it came out different. Compulsory excess is on the high side but still cheapest with 0 voluntary excess compared to others after loading voluntary excess to get similar overall. Process was easy just taking a photo of renewal notice with iPad and uploading to web site following purchase. Also pleased that no surcharge was added for using credit card to pay.

So far so good. I've only just signed on, the insurance does not start for another 25 days. It's only possible to give a review when the service has been used (although I hope that I don't have a claim!). The quote was good for me. I would have liked to include the breakdown service (especially if it was with LV Britannia) but the name of the supplier is unknown. I like the method of signing on for the insurance - everything online; documents supplied and stored in my computer; the no-claims proof letter uploaded online etc. All in all a very smooth start. At this stage I would recommend RIAS to my over-50 friends and relations. Although Aegeas is the actual supplier and their track record (on Which?) is not that good, it seems that RIAS cushions that.

Having been told in previous years that RIAS will not insure Chartered Accountants I was pleased with the competitive quote they provided this year. Service was good....although confusing that you get a lower rate through Go Compare that through their help desk .

It was very straightforward obtaining a new policy with you. When I had trouble trying to access my account on-line your customer services were extremely patient and helpful. ( I think her name was Wilma? )

Not at all happy I have not received proper set of Documentation for Motor Insurance which came into effect on 2nd January 2016. It is vital I have those documents especially Certificate of Insurance

good service. but as I required car insurance as well as household insurance to get a 5% discount I had to apply for car insurance first could not apply for both at same time with same person

I was very happy and satisfied in the way that a member of your team contacted me last Friday, the morning after I had considered a move to RIAS for home and contents insurance. The service and information was very good. However, I am very disappointed that the policy details, which were to be e, mailed to me have to date not arrived. I telephoned this morning to chase this and after waiting some 20 minutes had other commitments and was unable to wait any longer. Naturally I do not want to cancel my previous insurance until I have the detailed information from you to hand and time is getting very short to give four day's notice by the 31st December. I should be grateful if you would take steps to rectify this omission by return.

My usual car insurance provider hiked the price by £51 so I decided to check other suppliers. That very morning I received a notice from RIAS so decided to try them first. It was easy to fill in the required fields of the online form and I was very pleased with the service provided in quoting me and arranging my car insurance for the coming year, all done in very quick time. The paperwork has now arrived and so I have no worries on this score now it's all sorted. Thank you RIAS.
