“I RECEIVED A POLICY RENEWAL BY POST WHICH WAS INCREASED TO £214 from the previous year , so I reinsured with RIAS through compare the market . Com , and purchased the same policy from RIAS for £163 ! It is about time there was some transparency, and straightforward honesty from insurers when renewing policies . No loyalty was shown , so I will probably change next year”

“As I set up my quote/policy on line I encountered no problems. POLICY HE 24863045693 HOWEVER ON OCTOBER 30th I SENT AN EM ADDRESSED TO "Home Customer Services" a simple message "As my wife is not computer "literate" it would be of enormous help if you could MAIL me our Policy Documents please." I have not receive from you any response to this message, nor have I received any requested documentation. David L Hunter 09/11/2015 1412”

“Rias is a well known insurance company and I only ever go with a reputablecompany when looking for insurance, so I believe your standards are good unfortunately I have only scored normal as overall instead of very good When I was quoted on compare the market the package was under £80.00 with legal expenses at £9.99. I had a problem with my computer when accessing your website to purchase and therefore had to phone up. When the telesales re-entered my details it increased the cost by another £10, I did not think this was correct and questioned it, she told me because she had re-entered the legal fees were now £19.99. I said that the original quote should have been honoured, a cancelled. I has very upset that what you had quoted and advertised was now withdrawn to me, and did not continue. I did go on line and purchase in the end with yourselves as the main package was better than others, because of my requirements, but I do think that if you say this is a price then you should keep to your word. This could be very misleading. I hope that this is the only problem a one off problem I had and other customers do not experience as it cannot be good for your continued business.”

“Been with rias for two years now both times at renewal time I have been quoted a price for renewal and on checking online been offered the same policy by rias for between £30 and £50 cheaper while you do match the cheaper price on the phone I feel you shouldn't be allowed to quoting that much more if you can do it cheaper, it doesn't instil much trust in your operation and while I will stay with rias for another year I will most certainly not be accepting your renewal quote next year without checking online first”

“RIAS buildings cover was quoted at one third the price of my former insurer,with whom I had been for a few years but who had hiked prices up by over 50% in two years, 26% in the last year alone. RIAS quote was competitive & provided the same cover. A no-brainer as they say. Of course, it remains to be seen what the 2016 renewal price will be in 12 months time and whether the new business gained this year as from a new customer is still as valued price-wise next year.”
