Unfortunately I have experienced very poor response in obtaining my Insuranc documents for my car.Also no sign after a Fortnight of receiving my Breakdown documentation.Very disappointed with this poor level of service.

I renewed my car insurance with Rias in February, I am still waiting for my certificate of insurance to arrive. I have made phone calls about it and just keep being told they have sent it.

made two phone calls,put on hold for over fourteen(14)minutes then hung up,second call lasted over thirteen(13)minutes before I got someone to speak to.VERY POOR SERVICE.

Where is my new policy which I have paid in full for. I have one day to go before my old policy runs out. I hope the police do not want to see my new policy on Saturday because up until now I haven't got one. I live in hopes the post will bring it tomorrow. It should have been here by now. Poorly done RIAS.

Having taken out my house insurance with you for many years I do not expect to have to then shop around at every renewal time. I expect you to provide the best possible terms and conditions for renewal and not rely on my inertia in order to charge excessive fees which you then reduce. By checking this year I saved myself £239 and could have achieved greater saving for the equivalent cover elsewhere. I will not go through this exercise again.

Each year I get a completely unacceptable quote from RIAS. I phone to query it, and a staff member reduces it to something nearer the previous year's quote. This is all done, I must add, with politeness and efficiency. But I am left with the suspicion that RIAS are 'trying it on', and hoping that through apathy I will accede to the initial premium. So my concern is with the 'system', not the staff.

Problem with default settings on RIAS system input resulted in incorrect dates in Policy Statement - rang to make corrections which resulted in the issue of a second certificate which now has a incorrect start time of 01:00 hrs and not 00:00 hrs as I believe it should be. Spoke to call centre who gave verbal assurance that cover would start from 00:00 hrs but unfortunately unable to produce a certificate to that effect. Not very reassuring as I am sure that if the vehicle were to be stolen between that hour RIAS would refer to the policy document and say insurance cover does not start until 01:00 hrs. My current insurance expires at 23.03.2016 at 24.00 hrs, please get your act together and produce a valid document or I will cancel.

I have to admit I was disappointed. I am normally a big fan of RIAS. I received my new premium for the next year by post and discovered it was over £40 higher than last year despite no claims. When I telephoned and challenged the amount I was given a load of bull and it was suddenly reduced to the same as last year !!

I was shocked to find the increase in my annual car insurance was over £40 pounds. This is despite the fact that we insure two cars with you and have house insurance. I thought your company specialised in insurance for the over 50s but it seems that once you have secured a customer you just hike up the prices. You should consider the fact that older people are more trusting. They assume that loyalty to a company will ensure that they are offered a decent deal. They also do not always have access to the Internet and they may not be able to search for the best price on the comparison sites. As in my case I did telephone and secured a discount but even so the £40 plus increase in premium was excessive considering I have a clean driving record and no claims. As a company you should do better. This year I paid up because as an elderly person I do not want any hassle but next year if the premium is excessive I too will look for an alternative company. Your company name on numerous reviews is an absolute disgrace. You should wake up and smell the coffee before us old folk leave and go back to the AA or Direct Line for a better deal.

Why is your insurance price computer generated? Your premium had gone up by 30% . By speaking to your agent on the telephone it was reduced to almost the same as last year. So if some people don't phone you they are being ripped off

I cannot understand why a person who is 93 years old and becomes a widower has the annual premium increased. The person I spoke with in the call centre could not explain the reason for the increase. Why is a premium less if you are married?

I have had to say "poor" because that was my experience when I rang your office to find out what my premium would be for the next twelve months. I had no claims but my payments had increased by £120.00 and quotes from other companies were well below this figure so I attempted to ask your lady why such a large increase but was abruptly told that "Premiums were not negociable" and the phone went down.I left it a few days and rang your office once again as I have always been satisfied with Rias and was put through to a lad called Joshua who was very helpfull and we agreed a payment figure and I am a customer of Rias for the next year.he was a good lad,much better than your quite ignorant female assistant. Sorry!!!

Terrible trouble trying to renew motor policy, finally got thro' to an advisor on 10 th. March and renewed after numerous phone calls and being told advisors busy and holding on for ages, telephone call costs will be heavy!! Thought I would be able to renew on line but that option not available.Anyway am renewed now so relieved. Having told the advisor I had other policies with Rias was given a multiple policy discount, this should surely have been included in the renewal quote, not actuivated by the customer!!

Disappointed that your first renewal amount wasn't the best you could do. After many years with you I do not feel that we should have to search the market and only when we have had a better quote are you able to match it. We also have our house contents insurance with you which we would expect to give us better service.

Only poor because you failed to let me know about the renewal. I had to contact you a few days before the expiry date. Otherwise I would have been uninsured. That apart, prompt and pleasant service over the telephone.

I have been with your company for 9 years and never made a claim and yet my policy has increased considerably each year. This year is the biggest increase ever. Where is the 80% no claims discount. I consider I am now being "Ripped off"
