We have always found Rias to be professional, approachable, friendly and accomodating. We have never been kept waiting on the phone long, when we have had issues Rias has responded quickly and given reassurance. The renewal process has been straightforward with a fair price in comparison to the year before and competitors.

I didn't think you were ripping me off, as I am a regular customer. So I didn't get comparisons ... People I meet sometimes have stories iof how insurance companies take advantage of regulars; or anybody: a pretty miserable way to trade.

Phone calls to you are answered quickly, delay in answering calls is frustrating to the customer, do not compromise yourselves by cutting back on this service.

I did not purchase the insurance online, nor do I think I ever would. I would always prefer to speak to a person in this country. Not a robot.

Q I have found Rias a good insurance company to deal with and appear to appreciate loyalty. My only small criticism is when given a quote which you consider a little excessive and therefore question they then are able to reduce it and make it very acceptable.Why not do this initially?

No increase from last year which is much appreciated after having to fight to keep my motor policy reasonably priced. Easy to renew on the phone.

Easy to deal with, competitive quote to renew, phone answered quite quickly and sorted things - might be even better if able to do this online rather than call?

I was pleasantly surprised to receive a lower quote for this year's renewal and, when I phoned in to renew, I was told that this is now company policy, to quote the lowest straight away to save all the haggling! Nice change! I was also pleased with the phone experience, friendly, not over-chatty, cheerful and efficient. The whole renewal experience took only about ten minutes. I was quite impressed with RIAS and pleased to renew with them for yet another year

Call handled by very polite, knowledgeable woman. The process was painless but I did find the "home emergency" cover expensive so I declined it. If you really are committed to delivering excellent customer service, here are a couple of essential points that you need to adopt: (a) upon renewal, provide "best quote, first time" to cut out all this unnecessary haggling which you must understand that the majority of your customers dislike. (b) introduce an industry standard template listing cover details so it is easy for customers to compare one provider with another.
