As a loyal multi-insurer wuith RIAS, (2 cars and our house) we do find it galling that your raise the premiums significantly every year (despite no claims) and that the people we discuss this with on the phone are never aware that we use RIAS for property as well as cars, or that we are no claimers, old customers etc. or that, as loyal customers, we should perhaps be treated with a little politeness and consideration rather than with bored patronising .....

I have been with RIAS for some years and always found them to be very helpful. One glitch on my renewal this time. When I received my documentation I found they had put '' not protected'' for my NCD I had to ring them to have this put right and get amended documentation. It pays to closely check your documents when you receive them. If it hadn't been for this rating would have been very good. E.S

on 13th.july 2015 I installed a new security system in my home Beachview. IV31 6QU. from Ultimate home solutions limited. Unit906-908Mile End Mill. Abbeymill Business Centre, Paisley, PA1 1JS. they said I should inform my House Insurance Company about this Installation with monitoring & response alarm. David Wood

Only problem every year at renew time Rias offer a very increased premium price and after a phone call this price is more acceptable

Terrible trouble trying to renew motor policy, finally got thro' to an advisor on 10 th. March and renewed after numerous phone calls and being told advisors busy and holding on for ages, telephone call costs will be heavy!! Thought I would be able to renew on line but that option not available.Anyway am renewed now so relieved. Having told the advisor I had other policies with Rias was given a multiple policy discount, this should surely have been included in the renewal quote, not actuivated by the customer!!

I was busy with my grandson when agent called in response to my quote on line & so she called back the next day at the agreed time. I had several questions that were answered fully & nothing was too much trouble, result new customer happy with policy content & price.

I find RIAS to be competitive for Buildings insurance and to be effective when needed. Any dealings I have had with them have been competently handled in a pleasant manner.

I cannot understand the HUGE increase in premium this year. 20% or more. Can youi juistify this increase? Ple4ase let me know.

Smooth process. My few queries dealt with efficiently. Nothing outstanding but certainly no complaints. Can hardly expect great enthusiasm when premia have risen markedly not due to greater personal risk or general inflation!

12 months later, no changes to circumstances or vehicle, rias charged initially 107 more than preceeding year. After much haggle (listen to the recording) rias conceded 50 loyalty bonus. This reduced a 32% increase to 15%. There is nothing I can do except share my experience .
