In late December I purchased a LG gas range from Rona. The stove was not installed until January. I used this stove three time and then my nightmare a began and is continuing to this day. As I turned up the temperature to 350, flames began coming out of the back of the oven and did major damage to a brand new renovation. I went to visit Rona and they simply brushed me off and told me to deal with LG myself. When they finally sent out a technician my troubles greatly increased. The technician made a horrible mistake and turned on the top of the gas range . After a loud explosion my condo filled with black toxic smoke and now I have an extremely sick parrot. She stopped eating and had to be put on oxygen.. Humdreds of dollars later and blackened lungs she is now on three medications twice a day for the rest of her shortened life. Coming into five months later I have had to pay my own bills and still have received no help just empty promises from both Rona and LG Two lessons I have learned I will not purchase an expensive appliance from Rona ever again. Number 2, I will never purchase anything from LG Which according to them stands for life is good . My life has been anything but good since I dealt with both Rona and LG.

Yesterday I went 775 planet road Rona to buy some tiles I never had such experience the sales person is not helpful not even try to help me more than 25 minutes finally I went to costumer service he trying to help the management should do something about some sales person!!

We were happy that Rona came back ,but now too bad asit won't stay long the way they are running it now. We bought a small heater , when we got home and opened it up it was used and broken .The guy pretended to go into the back and look for a heater as the stock had not been put out yet [ baloney]. Anyway ,when he was gone 15 minutes we went looking for the guy and he forgot us . Had no idea what we wanted !!!!!!!!!! Then he finally comes out with this piece of trash and gives it to us. We bought it, drove all the way home to find the thing is broken and used ,drove all the way back and finally got it returned .What kind of place has it turned into ? Shame on the guy that served us and shame on RONA. Needless to say we WILL NOT BE GOING BACK . By the way ,you owe us $30 for the gas spent going back & forth.

This is the first and last time I will ever order from Rona I received an email saying my order would be delivered today and after spending almost 2 hours on the phone I was told it won’t be delivered today. The customer service with Rona is the worst I have ever experienced, and I will not hesitate to let everyone I know know how bad this company is

Would not return an item that had a lifetime warranty when the store was Lowe’s. I had the original receipt and went to the store and was told sorry. They still sell the product and had it in stock. Never gave me a number to call. Called Rona customer service and they asked for a copy of the receipt. I sent that in and received an email back saying I had to contact the manufacturer. The product box stated to take back to the original store it was purchased at. Rona customer service is awful.

Very horrible non existent customer service. I phoned to inquiry about an item on the Rona website. The person was unable to help me on the phone and told me to place an order online. So I placed an order for the item online. I went to the store and they couldn't find my online order. They told me to call the online customer service phone number. So I called it while I was at the Rona customer service counter to discover that the call center was closed. I was told by the Rona employee that it was closed because it was the weekend. There were 3 people at customer service with no one else around and then they told me to go look for it myself in the isle. I went to the isle and I couldn't find the item. I went back and asked for help to find the item. Finally 1 of the 3 people followed me and looked around but couldn't find the item on the shelf either. I asked if it was in back stock on the higher shelves so the employee found a ladder and looked but it wasn't there. The employee then said the item was not in stock due a stock error even though they should have had 6 in stock. The employee then said that because it used to be Lowe's that the stock is inaccurate online. The employee also informed me that my online order would be automatically cancelled because this happens all the time. It was a waste of time and this experience was beyond frustrating.

I am currently trying to return an wooden outdoor table. It has been four days of me trying to get someone to send me a shipping label so that I can return said table. I am still waiting. I keep being told that my case has been escalated and someone will get back to me but no one does. I had someone, at some point, send an email asking me if the glass top was broken - its a complete wood table. I like my local Rona store but will never buy anything online again. To add, the leg is crooked, hence the warranted return.

Since Rona took over lowes they’ve destroyed the stores and products and especially their customer service!!! Customers don’t matter anymore!! Lowes knew the importance of customer loyalty!!! Rona is a arrogant selfish company that I don’t plan on doing business with again

We are doing some renovations in our house. We are starting with new floors and our shed was damaged by a tree so need a new one. We went to the Rona on Bryne drive in Barrie ontario. We found 3 floorings that we thought could work. The woman who works in that department would not give us panels to take home and compare. She said we would have to by a box of each and just return them after. I said no way and we walked away. We went to home depot and they gave us a panel of 4 styles each to try. We went back and spent $1954.00 for floors and 1400 and a new shed. They are delivering free of charge and offered to carry into our house as well.

This review is not for the specific store but Rona in general, I just went online, and typed in storage bins, and it didn't show me one, it showed me very overpriced products that had nothing to do with my general search. I don't know who's in charge of the website but I'll be going to home Depot for my purchases and online shopping, the prices I just seen online were absolutely ridiculous, 300 plus dollars for a wicker basket $30 for a Christmas ornament bag, made of cheap material.

The Rona + store on Mavis and Bristol in Mississauga would not honor the price advertised in their flyer for grass seed. It states buy one, get one free and also shows the price of 16.99 marked down 50% to 8.49. I tried to buy at 8.49 for two as per the flyer, and was refused.

Do not shop at rona. I went today and they would not honour the ad price for grass seed. After several calls to customer service with no luck and ceo iacobucci with no return call I give up. They will not get my future business. I you go not take care of jour customers somebody else will.

Rona, Maple Ontario- Terrible attitude! Sorry- no gratitude for shopping there, no customer consideration/service - felt like I was 'UNWANTED' in that store. Believe me I'll never step foot in there ever again!( they don't care about customers or service) I'll be shopping at Home Depot where they do care. No wonder that store is empty- the attitude stinks! Even at the return counter...Brutal! Better hire instore and management that gives a care- READ YOUR REVIEWS! Change your attitude before everyone else changes stores!

On February 26, 2024, I ordered a $1999.00 (without taxes) Blackstone cooktop . This article is exclusively available online on Rona’s website. The article was to be shipped between February 26 and March 5, 2024. It is March 12, 2024 and I have not received my order. Yet my credit card was charged for the full amount of the purchase including taxes. I called customer service 3 times. Each time they tell me that they will check what is happening with my order and that they will call me back. I had no call back. Very bad experience. Unreliable customer service. Online purchases with Rona are to be avoided because you risk never receiving your order. And I don’t know if I can get my money back. Le 26 février 2024, j'ai commandé une plaque de cuisson Blackstone d'une valeur de 1999,00$ avant taxes. C'est un article exclusivement disponible en ligne sur le site web de Rona. L'article devait être expédié entre le 26 février et le 5 mars 2024. Nous sommes le 12 mars 2024 et je n'ai pas reçu ma commande. Pourtant, ma carte de crédit a été débité pour le montant total de l'achat incluant les taxes. J'ai téléphoné 3 fois au service à la clientèle. À chaque fois on me dit qu'on va vérifier ce qui se passe avec ma commande et qu'on va me téléphoner pour m'en informer. Je n'ai eu aucun retour d'appel. Très mauvaise expérience. Service à la clientèle peu fiable. Les achats en ligne avec Rona sont à proscrire car vous risquer de ne jamais recevoir votre commande. Et je ne sais pas si je vais pouvoir récupérer mon argent .

they had 4 workers at one computer and then I asked them for help and the worker gave me attitude never coming back do better
