Placed an online order on March 27. And was shipped the wrong part, it took till May 3rd to get a return label then was shipped back and received on May 7th but took till July 7th for the refund! This has been the worst customer service EVER and I will never be ordering online or in store!

Just spent 1:04 hrs just to place an order for some heavy duty shelving units. And it was the worst buying experience ever. Sleepy customer service rep - had to ensure her for over an hour. She spent half the time trying to get authorization for a price match from Rona $249 to Lowe’s $198 item. Because it’s the same family of companies she tells me there is not 10% discount on price matches! Then the rest of the time was repeatedly trying to complete my profile. And after all that Rona’s ordering system wasn’t working so no credits cards worked. So after an hour I could not place an order!!! For all this utter waste of time, their faulty ordering system, and having to buy from Lowe’s all over again, she can only offer me 10% off my NEXT order! Not happening. Home Depot here I come,

I represent a company that sells to Rona. In order to send them invoices, I have to submit them via a portal online. I don't have time to submit the invoices manually through this portal; however, if I don't, they will charge the company an administration fee to process the check and actually pay us the money owed. This is an example of big corporation forcing other companies to do THEIR work, and save them time and money. It's disgusting and they should be ashamed.

Unbelievable how terrible the customer service. No communication between distribution centre/head office and store. Head office tells you to call the store but no one answer at the store or they cannot help. It has been a month now since I ordered my product and I'm still waiting. I've repeatly call the store and send email to head office. I'm just getting the I'm sorry reply and please reach out to store. Why is the customer doing all the work here?

Ordered on line. Showed it was in the store. Standing in line at customer service to pick it up and we get an email telling us it is no longer available. They sold it to a customer who went to the store in person instead of ordering it on line. Terrible!!!

Don't waste your time, just go to home depot or lowes. Horrible customer service, to busy putting out merchandise.

Outrageous service. Bot a Craftsman lawn mower through Rona on line. Machine was delivered to my house directly from Craftsman. I assembled the machine according to instructions and added oil and gas. Gas ran out of the air filter and the motor would not start. I contacted Briggs and Stratton. The technician said the float in the carburetor was likely stuck from the factory/warehouse. Contacted Rona customer service. They said an exchange would not be possible because the box the machine came in had been opened. They directed me to Craftsman (MTD in Canada). MTD said the warranty was with Briggs and Stratton and directed me to a repair shop. Rona won't take the machine back once gas has been put in. So now I have to contact a repair shop, drop off the mower, wait for it to be repaired, and pick it up, hopefully with no issues about the warranty being honoured on a machine that has never run. No peace offerings from Rona. No more dealings with Rona going forward, no more Craftsman products after this one, and no more Briggs and Stratton. Had plans for construction projects, will insist Rona not be the supplier of materials. Was a former regular customer.

Bought 1x4x8' Spruce lumber from Rona Trenton..Lucky if I have 6 straight pieces out of 20 lengths.. Wont be buying again.. :(

Worst customer service ever! I made a purchase over the phone and I never got an invoice for the purchase I made. I have been trying to call the store (Warden and Eglinton- Golden Mile) and it is impossible to contact anyone on the construction department. I have left several messages and I have not been contacted at all. I even called Rona's offices in Quebec and they can't even solve the problems. Very frustrated as I am accountable for that purchase.

It took eight months before we received a call that confirmed that our order had arrived. Then they said they would call us between 6pm and 9pm to tell us when it was being delivered the next day. (they never called). Before that two months earlier, they said it arrived and then they changed their mind and said it didn’t arrive and then they told us to order something else. We still don’t know what is happening with our order. They are completely screwed up. Awful business to deal with and I will never buy from them again.

Rona is absolutely awful. They use a 3rd party delivery company that are incompetent, which makes sense since Rona is also incompetent. On top of that, the company being unreachable. I have been calling, emailing, chat using for a month and have had nothing resolved. A $500 barn door I ordered has never been delivered, yet marked as such. I HIGHLY suggest you avoid using this company at all costs. Ridiculous.

I ordered a rain barrel but everything was missing from it. Trying to grt ahold of customer service on line is impossible. The wait is for ever and the help they give is pointless. I ordered may 13th and still have not gotten an answer or solution to my missing pieces.

Worst customer service for an online order. Everything from beginning to end just disappointed. Do not give Rona your business. Save yourself the frustration and anger and take your business somewhere else. I couldn’t even reach the store by phone. No one answers the phone and they certainly don’t respond to voicemails.

Terrible customer service! I ordered a lawn mower and I received the wrong item instead. I called for refund and return and was replied in 40 min. It was two weeks ago. I am still waiting. I even called once and after the same waiting time I was finally given a file number but I was told that it could take more than two weeks because each refund needs a special approval from a boss! In the meantime I have ordered and received the right item and due to lack of space I keep the wrong one in my car. It is a nightmare! My money is blocked too. Two years ago I was waiting for an item and after two weeks they realized that have sold it to somebody else! I was obliged to order it again and waited for another week. Don't buy online wit Rona They are just terrible!!

Absolutely brutal on-line service. Ordered planters for parcel delivery. Took 4 days from Rona to let me know that what was supposed to be available is out of stock. Submitted an other on-line order for curbside pick-up a few days ago. Still no follow up Rona on when it will be ready. Called customer service. Got no one live. It's absolutely embarrassing that Rona is a Canadian-owned business. Rona has no business being in this industry.

Ordered the Verona4 light chandelier on the 21st and it was delivered by UPS today the 26th in a box oven batteries box with the styrofoam and the light inside broken. Called the local RONA for a return label and he informed me that there is no such thing! I am to suck up the $247.47 u til Covid is over. Yet Lowe’s and Home Depot take returns!! So Rick that they even shipped this garbage!!

There is a TV commercial where a guy doing construction asks another man to hand him something but he can't remember what it's called. You assume he is asking for a tool. It turns out he wants his cup of coffee. It is SO insultingly stupid. I immediately mute it. I can't imagine how someone with dementia would feel. They would probably cringe with embarrassment and hope they don't look so stupid. Please remove this commercial from TV. It is one of the worse commercials I've ever seen and reflects badly on you.

Like many other customers, I find Rona to be using deceptive business practices. Their online system is completely out of whack with the actual inventory in the store. My opinion is they will say they have it just to get your whole order, then cherry pick what they have and hope you will take it anyway. I'm just starting a $50000 reno and my local Rona (Nanaimo, BC) will get ZERO of that. They have pulled this once too often. Will never darken their doors again - and that goes for parent Lowes as well as suspect they use the same practices.
