Not one to leave reviews, especially negative ones but we've had an extremely bad experience with Roseland that I thought it important to share my thoughts. We only ordered two items but we've had problems with both, quality very poor and so much so that we've returned the chest of draws and don't want a replacement. I appreciate things are difficult due to COVID-19 but I can't help but feel they've really hidden behind that fact and making contact with them is extremely difficult. One of the main issues is the courier company they use for delivery "XDP", in the past week they failed to arrive with a delivery when stated and then subsequently failed to make collections when stated. I think this was my biggest issue, it's one thing having quality issues but when you waste customers time it's extremely infuriating. On top of that wen they did deliver the chest draws they just dumped it on our doorstep. I've made a complaint with management but as yet I've not heard back from them. Its sad to say but honestly, use this company with caution.

A dreadful rip off using this company. Received the wrong colour of chest. Couriers supposed to turn up six times to return but have never arrived. I’ve been left with this chest and no refund. I see from the reviews that some people have lost a lot more money than me. They need to be reported to the proper authorities as they seem to running some kind of scam.

Still waiting 9 weeks from time of placing my order, bank is now dealing with them,for my refund. Not sure where they get 5* from, I should have checked their Fb page before I ordered

Not happy with roseland furniture had two lots of orders first lot faulty an second lot faulty too still got them waiting for them to be collected by DPD

i Ordered furniture from you and it arrived as promissed on the 6/08/2020. 2 Items were missing that we really needed. Trying to find out when they will arrive is impossible

Very poor service, delivered to wrong address and they weren’t that bothered when I contacted them to tell them. I was lucky to get what I ordered, although had to go and pick it up from where it was delivered to. Wouldn’t use this company again.

Quality is ok for the money, courier they use is a absolutely nightmare, one sideboard arrived with a hole in the door, new one came would not take the damaged one back and spoken to myself like something that had fell off his ,shoe my advice buy local and don’t let these cowboys near your house never again

Sadly we are still waiting for the delivery of our new tv unit, it was meant to be delivered a week before we moved house and we have now been in our new house coming up two weeks and are trying to arrange delivery to the correct house! Fingers crossed we get it delivered soon and to the correct house!

Veneer on two legs and a drawer front were flaking off. Had to buy superglue to stick down. I would have returned had it not been so awkward to do so. These goods were meant to have been inspected - the inspector did a terrible job. I didn't complain to Roseland as it would have meAnt dismantling and returning. Won't be buying from Roseland again.

Fast delivery and well packaged however my drawers arrived damaged. Small crack, damaged legs and wobbly! Impossible to speak to an actual person, all email and no resolution or refund 2 weeks later. Not impressed and will not be ordering from here again!

The back panel is only stapled down one side and is flapping open, and then not properly. I am going to have to tack all along both top and bottom, and the other side. This will be difficult for me as I can't kneel. I should not have to do this. The top left drawer doesn't fit well. I know this as I have purchased the same chest of previously from you, which is why I bought a second chest. I paid an extra £25 for a two-man delivery. I only saw one man, who was able to pick up the box on his own. You should have known that was possible. I was very satisfied with the first Roseland chest I purchased from you, but this one has spoiled my impression of Roseland Furniture.

Tv unit arrived damaged, I have asked for them to come and collect unit for a return and refund, that was 2 weeks ago still not picked up or refunded.

Very disappointed. Would never order from this company again. Very poor communication throughout. A generic email is sent to acknowledge they will answer within 48 hours. Unable to speak to anyone on the phone, answer message states no calls will be answered. I ordered a chest of drawers, and concerns started when the courier company sent a text to advise of a delivery date and time (part of the time had already lapsed when the text was sent). It proved extremely difficult or impossible to contact them to re-arrange, and I never heard from them again. I had to communicate by email to Roseland who apologised and said they would look into this. I decided to cancel my order and request a full refund. This was accepted, but emails from Roseland said I had to wait until they had "confirmation that it is indeed coming back, we will process your refund". No idea when that would be and they gave me no idea when that would be. I paid through Paypal and lodged a complaint, and finally and quickly, I have now received my money back.

The only reason I’m giving one star is because the bookshelf I bought is actually very nice; the experience of receiving it, though was a different matter. From an order made on 14th July the item was received on the 28th July. No initial delivery estimate was provided by the courier and in fact short of an initial email from the courier, XPD, advising they had received consignment information 2 days after I bought the bookshelf, no other information at all was received from XPD. I contacted Roseland to get an update a week after buying the bookshelf and received an email advising that COVID was impacting deliveries and to be patient and that if I hadn’t heard anything from the courier in 48 hours to get back in touch. 48 hours passed with no contact so I contacted Roseland again and they attempted to ask me to wait another 48 hours which I declined to do. I asked them to get in touch with the courier because there had been absolutely no contact from them and no update on their tracking website. Shortly following this I received an SMS from XPD advising that delivery would be made on 29th July, 15 days after my order, and that I would receive a call from the driver on the day to advise of a time slot for delivery. On the morning of 28th July I received a missed call at about 0830 followed by my doorbell ringing about 5 minutes later. It was my bookshelf arriving admittedly one day early but with absolutely no notice that it was on its way. Because I live in Highlands and Islands of Scotland (which I don’t, I live in Elgin in Moray, not Highland at all) I’ve become used to delivery companies charging remote area prices to get to me, even though Trading Standards have repeatedly said they shouldn’t, but I paid an extra £35 for a company to keep hold of my bookshelf for almost an extra 2 weeks. Wonderful. Needless to say I shan’t be giving Roseland any further business.

They sent me a mismatched wardrobe and base. Or cupboard was white and base cream. I've been nearly two weeks so far trying to get this sorted. Very poor communication even with covid virus
