“Happy with the tables, came with scratches on which is a shame even though it was packed well and had ticks that is passed quality control. This tells me the manufacturers quality control is not very good.”

“I bought a Brambly Cottage 180cm bookcase, waxed oak finish. The instructions were NOT easy to follow and putting the back panels together took 3 intelligent, capable adults a very frustrating hour! Overall the quality is not the best. I would not recommend this bookcase.”

“The small sideboard is a perfect size & looks good in my room. Unfortunately on side was not correctly fitted so there is a gap down the side but I chose to keep it & was given a partial refund. This was sorted very promptly. Would use this company again.”

“The items I purchased were very good value for money. They are not the best there is, but for the money they are excellent. I marked them down to 3 Stars due to the long wait I had for delivery. Then when delivered an item that was in stock was missing. When it was delivered 2 weeks later only the top part of a triple wardrobe was delivered. I had to wait over a week for the remaining part to reach me.”

“Furniture came broken so had to send it back , they did give refund Very quickly but had lots of issues because tried to phone and each time could not get through Feel not great customer service would be put off buying again.”

“Not quite as white as I thought it would be but still looks good. Unfortunately suffered damage on delivery, the box looked ok when delivered but on closer inspection the outside padding on one of the boxes corner was damaged. The result is a slight gap in a joint at the front didn't want the hassle of returning it though.”

“At first glance the furniture appears very good but on further inspection there are a few disappointments!!!! Lack of paint on the wood supports Screw holes exposed so visible to the eye. Paint is not of a professional standard & a few flaws Wood tops have unexplained marks on. Sadly I would not purchase anything else 🙁”

“I ordered a small sideboard and the item is Well made, exactly as described and perfect for my hall. The problems I had were related to the delivery of the item. It didn’t seem to me that the delivery company and Roseland were communicating effectively. It took over two weeks for me to finally receive my order.”

“Lovely coffee table and no complaints about it. Problem was it was described as having minimal assembly required. 24 screws with 6 in a corner with a dreaded right angled Allan key to screw them in with -ie only a 1/4 turn possible. Took me 2 hours.”

“This was my second delivery of an item I sent back for replacement item. This item was also faulty with one of the legs to the larger table of two being loose.I managed to fix it myself so did not send it back again.Considering Roseland had two attempts to rectify the problem and failed I am not impressed and doubt that I will order again Not happy”

“First nest of tables delivered damaged. Also table tops were described as solid oak but in fact were veneer. Still kept them as they are a nice looking set of tables just not as described.”

“The chest of drawers came so quickly, brilliant delivery. The only fault is that the drawers really do not pull in and out easily at all, I had hoped that they would come on runners as they are very stiff and for my daughter so not ideal. However the chest itself is a good height and looks lovely in the bedroom. Am wishing I had gone for a different model with better drawers though.”

“Overall ok wardrobe. The quality is what you would expect for the price. The only damage was to the magnetic door catches at the bottom which were smashed, easy replaced.”

“We purchased a small book case, a chest of drawers and a double wardrobe from the Surrey Oak range. The quality of the furniture was mediocre at best when compared to other oak furniture that we have purchased in the past (albeit at a greater cost). The quality in terms of "fit and finish" is where the main issues reside. For example, the door knobs on the front of the wardrobe do not align (level) with one another. One of the drawer handles initially fell off the chest of drawers. We have since rectified this so not a major issue. Also some of the draws stick (did not run smoothly) so we applied some wax to address this. Again not a major issue. The main issue which cannot be addressed is the quality of the oak finish as is quite rough when compared to the other items we have purchased elsewhere. This seems to be true of each of the items purchased so we suspect its just the way they are manufactured. Overall and in summary the furniture is passable for the price paid and will serve its purpose. In hindsight I would likely have paid a little more for something that has a better quality finish. As a supplier Roseland furniture was straightforward to place and order through and delivery was within a 10 day period from purchase. Delivery arrived on time and we were kept informed of the goods progress throughout.”
