“Furniture arrived damaged and poor fittings meant we had to fettle the joints together so it didn’t wobble. You would be disappointed if you saw the quality. Delivery was advertised in November as ‘before Christmas’ however it arrived in February. Deliver arranged then changed the day before because drivers van had broken down. Took three attempts to find another day. All in all it was more hassle. Pleased with the product now it’s built and damaged part can’t be seen. Photo sent to company.”

“Reasonable quality but bought 2 chests of drawers and one of them has very strong smelling wood, inside the drawers it is quite overpowering & gave me a headache for a fortnight! After a month, the smell in the room has faded somewhat but clothes kept inside the drawers still smell very strongly - a kind of mothball smell, not very pleasant”

“I bought this bookcase and one from another provider at the same time. The one from Roseland was my least favourite. I thought that the corner posts were solid, but they are not and one is not waxed inside at a place that is visible. The shelves have small wedges set in to fill gaps at the ends of the shelves, so poorly made.”

“Bought four items from the Farrow range. Always quick delivery and items well packed and of solid construction. However, all four pieces are different shades of grey, despite being from the same range! Also, the wood tops vary massively in colour from a pale 'pine' to a deep 'reddish brown'. Disappointing when they are all in the same room! Guess if you buy cheap, you get cheap.”

“Lovely furniture but such a shame that it isn't checked before despatch! I had 3 console units delivered and each one was faulty, very disappointing. I was told the third one would be checked but it wasn't and to be told they will just be put on a skip when returned is terrible”

“I ordered 6 items of bedroom furniture, which were delivered as promised on my chosen day, 2 items were badly damaged, I rang to replace which was no issue, delivery was arranged, on the Friday we had snow so I didn't know if delivery would occur I contacted them and there would be no delivery, I should have been contacted to let me know, redelivered 2 days later and courier should have collected damaged items but refused to take, do had to arrange another day for collection. To sum up furniture is ok but you do get what you pay for apart from the fronts and sides, inners are rough stapled timber, and deliveries, collections are difficult, with no updates from Roseland or couriers, and used 4 days holiday to complete satisfactory conculsion.”

“Item delivered on time. Quality of item very high. However delivery company delivered item to my neighbour and gave no indication where the item had been left - no card left or text message. I had to contact Roseland furniture to find out where my item was to be told it was delivered. Not impressed with courier delivery.”

“This is not expensive furniture therefore you get what you pay for, the drawers could fit better and there were a few marks on the wood but on the whole I was satisfied with my order. It was delivered quickly and I was notified when it was coming and I couldn't fault the packaging which was exceptional.”

“Online ordering was easy, product was perfect. The only issue was the delivery. The box was put over a 6ft wooden gate and dropped, luckily no damage. No note or email left to tell us it had been delivered. Luckily my wife went out for walk and spotted it.”
