the console table i bought was okay apart from building it up very tricky especially when the bolts did not line up in one of the legs apart from that it matches my furniture i bought from oak furniture land at half the price

Great value furniture however the delivery service is shocking. You really need to change your courier they are terrible. They send texts to say items are on the way and they don’t turn up. Mine hadnt even left the depot! Ended up chasing with Roseland numerous times. The courier doesn’t reply to emails or calls.

The bookcase turned up on time but had clearly taken a knock somewhere along the line. This chipped one of the edges and broke one of the feet. I fixed it rather than going through the hassle of returning it, but it was a close run thing. It's a bookcase for a spare room so doesn't matter so much.

Of 3 products, delighted with 2 and disappointed with 1. Materials, delivery etc all very positive. Description of 1 product is inaccurate and results in the 3* review.

Ordered Oak furniture on-line which was shipped out by Tufnell both units had falling apart by the time we got them. However was dealt with promptly with replacements. However clearly being battered in transit had to knock back together overall not that good and to send furniture with a parcel company is never going to end well. So if I was not desperate for the furniture I would of rejected I am afraid

Great products and good value for money however communication regarding deliveries needs to improved. Delivery flexibility needs to be better.

Notice on box, two man delivery! One man dragged the item through our house into the conservatory on his owner. Luckily the floor or the furniture wasn't damaged. I mistakenly thought the sideboard would have been unpacked for us ( we are both disabled elderly people) and the packaging taken away. Sorry but we were most disappointed.

Order process was easy, and the goods arrived promptly. However, the delivery process wasn't brilliant - no warning when it was due, until the morning of the delivery day- and no opportunity to change the date. We were at work when it arrived, so they left it with a neighbour - but didn't put a card through our door. Because of the poor delivery service, I won't use Roseland again unless they change their delivery company and process.

Good service from company , but let down by couriers, was only notified of delivery on same day when 50 miles away! packaging was also soaking, though furniture OK

I ordered the Churchill corner TV stand as I wanted one that went right into the corner, not being cut across with a gap behind. I am keeping it as these corner ones are rare but.... Have carried some improvements myself since getting it - such as closing the underneath with pine T&G strips and painting the top white. I was surprised that most of the main unit is hardboard or MDF - and the drawers might be too. Only the top edge pieces and some of the drawer supports are wood. Also some of the bits of MDF/wood to stop the back of the drawer going back too far had fallen off as they were only glued on. I wouldn't have expected it to cost as much as £235 although I appreciate that the drawers are fiddly to make and fit. Delivery arrived one working day early but I could accommodate it.

Looks nice from the front, but drawer rather poor quality, doesn’t fit well, and back of unit very thin plywood. Also it arrived with a slightly splintered edge beside one corner of the drawer, which needed sanding down.

Online ordering very smooth and no need for any human interaction with the company. Vey poor experience with the delivery compnay, XPD. Very short notice of delivery - same day, which isn't great for working people. Then a two hour time slot, and when called XPD to see if they were tracking the driver, very unfriendly response and no further information. Once we were past the delivery slot, another call to XPD, again very grumpy and unpleasant, but eventually revealsed driver running two hours late. So, very poor customer service, very poor information and no updates. Bad enough to put me off using Roseland again, even though not really their problem.

Purchased the mini sideboard. Disappointed in the quality, particular the back of the sideboard which seemed to be chipboard. However, you get what you pay for and better quality furniture costs £100 more. Delivery was fast and with no problems.

Good products, easy ordering and friendly phone support, but main problem with Roseland is committing to a purchase with no idea when it might arrive. You then have to ring, sometimes several times, to change the day. Surely it is simple enough to follow the standard practice of other successful online retailers?

Great furniture, very bad delivery service. Only ordered as I’d checked in advance I could have furniture on a specified date, which I was told I could. However, furniture left a week early outside my apartment and could have been stolen. It wasn’t discovered until days later.

I bought a sideboard, which is lovely. However, the delivery service was utterly atrocious..! After ordering online I was sent emails and knew which day I was expecting the delivery. On the day itself I received a text at 8.03am telling me my item was going to be delivered that same day between 10.51am and 12.51pm. There was even a link to ‘track’ my parcel. It all looked promising. Perfect, I thought as I had so much to do that day. Well, I waited and I waited and I waited. I called Roseland when the sideboard was two hours overdue. They said they would find out what the problem was but, ultimately, they did not answer any of my questions. I checked the tracking link but it just confirmed that a text message was sent at 8.03am. There was no information regarding the whereabouts of my sideboard - useless as a “tracking” system. Needless to say it didn’t arrive that day and I did not receive ANY COMMUNICATION to tell me not to expect it. The next day, when I’d heard nothing by 9.30am, I again called Roseland. They could not answer my questions about delivery times but promised to call me back - they did not! I was just about to go out for an essential trip at 11.30am when my sideboard arrived without warning. I was pleased to receive it but the timing made me late for my appointment. At 2.45pm that same day I finally received an email from Roseland stating, “I have chased them again this afternoon and will update you as soon as I can. If I can would a Saturday delivery be ok with you if I can't get it to you before then?” Please note it was due on a Wednesday so Saturday would have been a massive delay BUT also (more crucially) this was after my sideboard had already been delivered! They really do not know up from down; left from right! It is just as well I like the sideboard otherwise I’d be even more cross!! I wasted a full day and then another half a day waiting in the house. Communication was extremely poor leaving me frustrated and, quite frankly, I was absolutely fuming. I have given five stars for the sideboard but would give none at all for delivery.

Looks good but a couple of areas on the cabinet needed attention (poor quality control). Also, problems with delivery. Could not locate as new property. Tracking indicated at depot but no contact from them so I needed to contact them. I then wrote to delivery firm with details but they did not pass information to driver who had to be given information over the telephone to be able to find us. Not a good customer experience.
