I received my post in a Jiffy bag thst had clearly been torn open , the contents had been taken out and tampered with and the seal had been ripped off. Thats how my postman handed it to me with no explanation or apologies. Avoid at sll costs. I think it’s the postmen that are the problem. A few of them can’t be trusted.

Absolutely shocking service all round, phone up and waiting over 40/60 mins to get fobbed off by them, no real complaint procedure so shows they know they're shocking! Better off using another service as customer service non existent, rarely leave a card, have no clue where your parcel is half the time and trying to collect your parcel from the sorting office is ridiculous only open 8-10 and 4-6 mon-fri and 8-12 Saturday. Happy to take people's money but don't deliver an even half decent service

Should be renamed "Snail Mail". Everything takes too long to be delivered. Dread ordering items online when they say it will be delivered by Royal Mail. Never used to be as bad as it is today. What's gone wrong?

Had padded envelope delivered with a 12 x6 cm hole. Nothing to say sorry from post office or postie.

Absolutely a joke of a company Lost parcell, calling cards no being left while I'm unaware and parcels are returned to sender. Mr Postman prat doesn't even bother to toss letters in my letter box he leaves them on staircase to other to walk on. Last one thing Thanks for not collecting arranged parcell you wasted my time again Pathetic Royal Mail pleas bankrupt soon

Expecting a deliver 5 days ago still not turned up phone royal mail and they say they only received it yesterday and could take another 2 weeks to deliver total jokers waist of time company must not do any work. Will not be using them again parcel force and evri are so much better.

avoid royal mail at all cost package sent on 24 hour delivery it is now 77hours still no delivery tried to call local office and i just get cut off it is my oppinion that royal mail only deliver 3 days a week this is fraud as a 24hour delivery is never going to happen scrap this company ASAP dont ever use them they are just scamming their customers

Short: Had a package held due to a charge but no one at Royal mail could tell me what the charge was for. Forced to pay a fine with no reason given. Long: Been using Royal Mail since 2004, 100's of packages sent, Sent a package on 20/04/2024 weighing no more than 500 grams (a single Nintendo 64 Cartridge & bubble wrap in a regular thickness box ) and all measured to size, never mis-weighed or measured a package wrong in 20+ years. I always check the tracking on my packages just to make sure they arrive okay and found a message on 24/04/24 saying my package has been held due to not having the correct ammount of postage paid, no alert or notification, just happened to check up on it, instantly phone them up and ask what the issue is just to be told by the representative that they would not be able to tell me over the phone and that i would have to wait for a slip to be posted to the recipients address with the reasoning. On 25/04/24 the slip arrives at the recipients address with nothing but "sender did not pay the full postage" and that i owe them £3.20 so i phone back up to inquire what this charge is for as i've definitely paid the full amount only to be told that they could not give me that information as they do not have it and that Royal mail would never make a mistake and that i would have to inquire to the office holding the package myself as to why its being held, the representative eventually forwarded the enquirery for me to the office holding my package and told me that they would reply within 10 days and that the only way to get my package resent to the recipient was to pay the charge. I agreed to pay the charge on the basis that they would provide a reason behind the charge so i could at least know what ive been charged for and then have the chance to challenge it if i felt i wasnt in the wrong, i received one email on 08/05/2024 stating that "We're just letting you know we're continuing to investigate your query: 1-11332255113 and we'll get back in touch with you as soon as we have an answer for you." Its now 30/05/2024 and ive still heard nothing. This is the worst customer service ive ever experienced in my entire life, to have your goods seized over a charge and not even be told what it is you're being charged for and expected to just pay it and trust them that its for a justified reason is nothing short of complete madness. I will absolutely never use any of Royal mail's services ever again and will advise everyone i possibly can who is sending anything to avoid them like the plague. you cant just treat customers like this, we're actuall people at the end of your little reference numbers.

You'll find they don't deliver your product on scheduled day, what they do is return back to the Depot because the drivers simply cant be arsed to complete all the deliveries. Leaving you having to reschedule or collect it yourself. Should rename in it 'Retarded delivery Service'.

I was expecting a next day delivery parcel from Boots which contains essential items. I got a message from Royal Mail to say unable to deliver as property inaccessible. I checked address and although postcode was correct, there was an error in the first line of address. This I accept but it has been impossible to contact anyone to discuss this. The message came from my local office but their phone number is a national one which doesn't get answered anyway. I have still not received my parcel and am unable to contact anyone. Have never had a problem with mail deliveries. In fact, I feel for the postman who does my deliveries as he brought me 4 parcels today. I presume this larger expected (?) is to be delivered by van.

i can i put 0. i have got 2 issues in the last 2 months. in first time they lost letter with very important documents. and today, surprise, surprise, they delivered my parcel to wrong address. parcel cost is 65 pound. royal mail works awful. i have enough stress from my life without those issues.

Less than Zero!!!! This is my last parcel I did sent by Royal Mail !!!! I did sent parcel with signature required over 10days ago!!! No parcel no information F zero!!!! Royal Mail service is a F joke!!!! Automatic chat with computer is like talk to wall !!!! Do NOT USE Royal Mail warning to everyone there is better companies with less prices and proper service!!!!!!

as usual royal mail exceeds itself I live on the Wirral and due to a monkey who can't read they have sent my parcels to St Albans D well done royal mail the sooner you go out of business the better.

They lied about how long a delivery would take. I was counting on it arriving on time as it was an important document. I don't have that much money, but I really wish I'd paid more for a proper delivery service, as now I've been lied to, ignored, deceived, paid money for nothing, and I don't have my document. Please avoid Royal Mail like the plague.

I run a greeting card business and customers expect their cards to arrive on time but recently again I have been getting complaints of them not arriving on time and who has to deal with these complaints ?.... me!!. I have to apologise to the customer because you state 24 hour for 1st class and 2-3 days for second, 2 orders haven't arrived for days after and when you go to claim back you say I can only claim after 10 days! which I expect it would arrive by then but what good is that, it's too late and I lose money while you get away with it. I'm very angry with Royal Mail and they have the cheek to increase their charges for this rubbish service.
