“I also have the soft sided cooler with a zipper that failed at the same spot as the ones I see with negative reviews.. I've had mine for over 2 yrs with very limited use.. this defect should not occur. I've seen many reviews with the same issue so I do believe it's a Manufacturers defect and should be replaced..”
“Bought multiple products. 2 big cooler, coozie, ice packs and a rack for the cooler. Most are good. But the warranty on soft cooler stinks. The customer service Felisa is unreal . I will not but an other Rtic product. Or ever recommended it. Garbage

“Buyers beware!!! Wish I had read all their horrible reviews online before I decided to buy off their website! Bought a cup online and the picture of the customization was completely different than the product I got. They make the cup look darker online, but when you get it, you can barely see the customization on it. Told customer service but they don’t care, they will not help you. They will say they are they say sorry for the inconvenience and there’s nothing they can do. They won’t be getting my business again! From the looks of all the one star reviews here everyone has the same terrible experience with their customer service!! Don’t give them your business they don’t deserve it! I am trying to upload pictures and their website will not work in. It was a nightmare, trying to customize the cups on their website as well. It’s amazing that this company isn’t out of business already!!!!”
“I have had three of the soft sided coolers and all have come apart. Two of them had hardly been used. The third was good for years before falling apart. All three split at the seams. Rtic would not replace because it was over a year ever though it was a Christmas gift bought earlier in the year.”
“The zipper on the soft cooler is very poorly designed. We purchased a 30 and a 40 can cooler. The smaller one the zipper came off track. Called Rtic to see if they could fix it and was told no it was out of warranty. My sister bought a couple as well and the same thing happened to both. Do NOT buy an Rtic soft cooler! The cooler is no good without the zipper!!”
“Zipper broke and zipper area is bleeding colors from cooler. Looks horrible and zipper is worthless. Used as directed w the lubricant. They deny the 1 yr warranty that comes w the cooler. They blamed me for the colors running bc of salt water. This color has never seen salt water. Just junk. Should have saved $75 and bought a Walmart cooler. Same quality.”
“I purchased 2 1 gal water jugs, all customized, and spent a little extra, but I did not see any option for Fonts, as it was small and away from the screen, easy to overlook. I tried to call in and email to update the Fonts only, but nothing that would add any extra money or not, but RTIC cannot do anything once they receive the money and not even call the manufacturer to let them know a small change before the jugs are even processed. Chat(Bri) was horrible and condescending, but the call was good, but still nothing they cannot do but make you miss the discount because they have to refund (5-7 business) and then once I get the money back I can re-order and lose the memorial day discount and stated that this is all on me. horrible customer service and unable to make any updates, even if the order was placed two minutes prior, which I find unbearable and wanted to warn people about buying from RTIC.”
“I owned 1 of every size soft cooler including 2 each of the 12-can and 20-can and one of the hard coolers. Four of the soft coolers either "came apart" in the lid area of the zippers got permanently stuck. I went to their HQ in Houston and was not looking for free replacements, just some sort of concession on purchasing replacements. The BEST they could offer was 10%! :) I am done with RTIC forever. Poor support of what seemed to be good products...for a while! Moving on...”
“RTiC is the WORSE company to deal with. In order to even remotely look at your warranty, they need the email address of the person who purchased it. If rhey were won at an auction, how would I know who purchased it. They want pictures which were sent 6 times to no avail! The zippers in the soft coolers break with barely any use and you’re paying top dollar for their products. From now on, YETI has my business! I will NEVER purchase anything from RTIC!”
“My wife bought a cooler for my birthday. Spent a lot of money too. It rarely was used because the zipper was hard to close. Who ever heard of a zipper on a cooler anyway. Their product design allows for the failure of the zipper which renders it useless. I don't care about their stupid warranty the product has a planned obsolescence long before such a pricy item should. I intend on sharing that with as many people as possible along with their uncaring, unconcerned Customer Service. Buyer beware. That is what consumers need to know. RTIC SUCKS. DON'T BUY !”
“I am not happy with this company, around Christmas there bowls were advertise for 59$ for the pair, when I clicked on the link it showed 99$, so I contacted the company, I was treated very rudely and got the run around and excuses of why I would not get that price, I even sent in a picture of the sale price and they refused to honor the price even with proof that the sale was still being advertised. It was sad that such a company as RTIC would not go the extra mile with their customer service. I contacted them several times buy phone and email, and nothing, needless to say I just need up looking elsewhere , after being treaded that way.”

“Irritating to me this Company would require a $7 per item rush fee to have items by 12/20/23. I placed my order on 12/3/2023, not anticipating to receive until closer to 12/20/23. After reading other reviews, I should be happy I received my items. Thankful to have received our items already 12/8/2023. Very disgusted they charged $7 per item, 90 items mind you, when clearly their production is on or ahead of time, and in no way needed to charge our Company this extra $630.”
