Having to pay to return items even when you just want to exchange is ridiculous. Will not order again due to this outdated online system and returns policy.

What an atrocious way to treat a customer. • Allerton boots arrived late September. I was thrilled. This had taken 1 month. Saw Rydale at the Dunster Show, chose the boots (they didn’t have my size), Howarths were not going to be in stock, so chose ALLERTON. • Wore them once: 2 teeth fell out of the zip • Sent pics of damage to Melissa as requested 30.09.19 • 02.10.19 Melissa said she would send a return slip. • She arranged Friday, Oct. 4 – then cancel – failed to book the courier • She asked me for another day. I said Monday, Oct. 7th • She failed again and asked for another day. She said she had too many emails to read (!!??). Isn’t this her job? – to take orders etc. • I said Friday, Oct. 11th. • Finally, on Octo. 8th she sent the return slip • We were all here all day waiting on Octo. 11th. They never came (I called her at the end of the day, she said they would come up to 8pm at night.). They never came. • Sat. Oct. 12th, they never came. • Mon. Oct. 14th, finally came, claiming they had come before. • Anna/ Melissa had promised me that there was a pr of size 8 slim fit for me and that they would send them the minute the faulty ones were collected (NOT RECEIVED). They said, they were notified immediately upon collection and the next pr would eb sent out. • Anna now claims none of this was true, they were never notified and that there was not a pr for me • I called Anna yesterday to be told there are no more size 8s and none until the New Year. • Asked to speak to her supervisor – she is her supervisor. Oh dear. Asked to talk to you. No call yet received • Went on your website today and saw I could order a pr of size 8 slim fir Allerton. Called first. • Spoke to Lauren. She said the system was showing 1pr, she would go and look and call me back in 20mins. • 30mins later, no call. No call all day • Am email arrived later today, 221019. No boots etc. “You call us to get your money back” (no offer of calling me), a misspelled homophone (manner/manor) and unsigned. Can’t get much worse. Interesting way to nurture valuable clients and run a company.

Rydale took my money and never sent me the product I ordered. Instead, they sent me an inferior jacket of both the wrong kind and colour. When I complained, they told me to prove it was their mistake, which I did, and then they spent several weeks stalling. I was told to return the mistakenly-sent jacket and pay the postage out of my own pocket, which I foolishly did. By now, the jacket I originally ordered is not only out of stock, but Rydale HASN'T EVEN REFUNDED the money I already paid for it weeks ago. It is a complete shambles. I have been in a loop with their "support" for several weeks now, and all I can say is STAY. AWAY. Even the budget prices don't make up for headache you'll have with Rydale.

I love that fact that you've asked me to rate a product that still hasn't arrived. Over two weeks after I expected it to arrive. Think I might need a refund!!

Shocking customer service. My order wasn't delivered within an appropriate time because they use an incompetent courier. Really slow at replying to messages/emails and a really unhelpful woman on the phone. I won't be shopping with Rydale again.

Placed order and paid, had email to confirm order and dispatch date etc. Then couple days later emailed to say out of stock and had been refunded and to ignore if still advertised on website.

Sizings all over the place. I purchased a Cawood jacket which was supposed to be 44 chest. It was nearer 50 chest so I had to pay for the returns. I requested an actual chest measurement for a medium and large so that I could re order with confidence but was told they were too busy to do that, therefore they have lost an order. Not good customer relations that's for sure.

Avoid, avoid, avoid. Absolutly horrible company. They are not able to send the paid parcel one month. Terrible customer service !!! Avoid.

Lovely items Terrible customer service Was told items were to be dispatched from the warehouse when actually there was a delay on my order. Phoned up to the most unhelpful staff, after a long conversation to a very unprofessional manager she hung up on me!

Paid extra for 1-2 days delivery. Order processed despite huge backlog in warehouse and no intention of sending item over a week after ordered. Had to phone to find this out after non delivery 2 days after latest expected date. Cancelled order and got refund. Very poor service.

A really poor company to deal with. Ordered and they sent the wrong colour hat. The email reply to this was disbelieving asking for photo evidence - when does blue look like green? They issued a return label and sent it back. 4 days after they received it I still dont have the replacement hat and apparently they are waiting for the return parcel to be scanned. Not an efficient company and I wont buy from them again.

Awful and rude customer service, obnoxious staff. boots ordered for my daughter last week were due for delivery on Tuesday. instead of knocking a neighbour or leaving the parcel in a safe place they took the package back. We then had to go on to an automated service in order to have them delivered once again leaving them in a safe place. 2 days later and no boots, I called them once again. I was advised by the arrogant customer service agent that the boots were delivered today at 11.24am and had been left behind the red door. This red door is a communal area through which 4 -5 different terraced houses can be accessed. Once advised of this she explained that she would contact the courier and have them uplifted and call me back. They didn't even think to go through the close and out the other side to my back garden or to know on both sets of neighbours which are retired, they left them in a close??? 3 hours later and no call. I rang back and got the same upstart as before. she advised me the courier would be back tomorrow to collect the boots!! I asked if they are not there when I get home he will have nothing to collect, bit pointless really, she sighed and told me that they would open a case with the courier company would have to investigate. This can take a further 48 hours and they would call me back. The result if found negligent, they will either refund or send new boots out via the same company 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️. To be honest the main fault lies with the courier company however I am disgusted with the Ill mannered and supercilious attitude when dealing with Rydale. This is my first ever order with them and I can assure you it will be my last. So as expected my husband has arrived home... and surprise surprise NO BOOTS, No package in the communal area. I am now over a week in, £55 down and no boots... with no refund in sight till an investiagtion is complete!! AVOID!!!

I ordered a pair of boots. They cost £140. Within 2 months and very light use the zip has broken, I have emailed twice and had no response. Very expensive boots to have to get repaired after such little use. Poor customer service and quality.

I ordered a pair of wellies as a Christmas gift from Rydale.When they arrived the quality was appalling.The soles had been hand painted very badly and it had dripped all over the wellies and was beginning to crack.I wish I could upload pictures-it looled like a toddler had done it!There is no way this had been quality checked or even inspected (as stated online) prior to dispatch.The customer service was equally as bad.This could have easily been resolved but instead I've been forced to shop elsewhere and return the product at my expense!
