Issues around the free Mcafee Internet security. It ran out 3rd Jan even though I bought the laptop end Dec with free Mcafee for 1year. Have emailed company twice so far but only received a 'we will look into your enquiry' once. Still waiting for them to get back to me Becoming quite disappointed with the service and do not feel like recommending them at the moment.

Whilst I was delighted to receive my Lenovo ThinkPad E555 and am delighted with the product. The supplier failed to give me the reason why my order was "put on hold" for three days and was not released until I chased the order by telephone. The order appears to have then been despatched promptly and delivered the following day by courier. Excellent value for money.

Quality of product is good - exactly as spec'd and what I expected. You are let down by your customer service. I bought on the free delivery in 5 days option. There was no delivery after 5 days. I contacted you by phone to be told that the screen I prdered was Out of Stock - although it was showing as in stock at time of order. Delivery was made 2 days later - 7 working days after order was placed

Good price on product, but nearly went with rival because it offers no Quidco cashback and refuses to accept AMEX cards

Computer not as described had an R5 chip and not R7, but it works very well, just the job for me. Delivery very quick used next day. Unfortunately it came down £30 in price the next day.

This is not the first time I brought a laptop from SaveOnLaptops. The last laptop I brought from them 3.5 years ago is still working. In my case they are ideal to buy cheaper laptops on where I eventually put my own chosen operating system on. Pros: 1. The website is easy to navigate on a laptop to see what you want. 2. Some of the deals are better than elsewhere 3. The customer service staff are polite and answered the phone very quickly when I called. 4. Delivery is done by DPD who text and email you before they deliver so you can change to another day or get your parcel delivered to a neighbour. Cons: 1. As usual when buying online my transaction was stopped by the credit card company as they thought it was a fraudulent transaction. Unfortunately it then wasn't clear when I got my security code whether I had paid the retailer or not so I had to ring them up. This is mainly due to getting an email acknowledgement stating I had paid but seeing account information saying I hadn't. 2.The laptop I brought is described on the site as having a Windows 8 operating system. However when I got it, it had WIndows 7 professional installed on it with 4 discs with Windows 8.1 on it. As the laptop does not come with an internal DVD drive you then have to attach an external one, fight with getting the F12 key to work as the instructions are poor, and then install the discs. 3. Standard delivery is described as taking 4-5 working days. I was not bothered by this and actually it would have been a bonus as then I could guarantee there would be at least one of two people in who got have got the delivery. However the laptop arrived within 36 hours of payment. 4. SaveOnLaptops is a trading name of the Box ltd so it is confusing about what they are called. 5. They charge extra for credit card transactions and paypal. As credit cards give you more consumer protection it's actually worth buying things over £100 on it just incase something goes wrong. This means in some cases their deals are not cheaper than elsewhere where you can pay with a credit card.

Your staff have been been excellent throughout my terrible experience, caused by your distributors choice of UKMail as its delivery partner of choice. Buying a laptop from you has been an utter nightmare, which I accept has not in any way been your fault., and both Kate and Raj have done what they could to help. However, as long as UKMail are involved, however distantly, I cannot buy another laptop from you. In fact I will never buy from anybody that uses UKMail.

I have had no time to assess the quality of the computer, but I am very disappointed by the delivery arrangements by Collect+. As I knew I would probably be away from home from last Saturday, I had hoped the item would arrive during the week - on Wednesday or Thursday - so I could get it working before I went away. On Thursday the tracking system showed that the package had reached the Collect+ store at Hanwood, but had not been delivered & had gone back on the Wrexham van. On Friday morning I had a text & e-mail telling me that it was ready for collection at the store. I drove the three miles there to find that it was not there but 'might arrive later in the day'. I had no further notification so drove there on Saturday morning to find that it had arrived on the Friday afternoon. As I then had to leave to catch a train I have not had an opportunity to do more than open the package. Hugh Scriven hughscriven@hotmail.com

My only issue is that the package was not a 'signed for' package and it was left in an unlocked porch until I got home from work.

Everything was brilliant aside from the fact that there was no confirmation email when I ordered. I had to email in order to check if the purchase had completed. However, very speedy delivery, good customer service and excellent product

Item was despatched swiftly and well packaged. However, I paid a premium rate for Saturday delivery and did not receive the product on Saturday or Sunday. Delivery was attempted on Monday, despite my informing the company I could not be in. I had to drive to Crawley on Tuesday to collect the parcel, a two hour round trip! I shall be contacting the company regarding a refund of the charge for a service their selected company could not fulfil.

I bought the Msi dominator laptop for my son for a Christmas Present which I received on the 15th Dec. (plenty of time for Christmas so can't fault the delivery) However as this was a Christmas Present I didn't want to switch the laptop on to check if it was okay because I knew my son would want to do this and set it up himself. I therefore contacted the sales centre to see if they would extend the DSR (the 7 days in which you can return an item if you are not happy with it ) of which they said no. I personally thought this was a "Scrooge " type of approach considering the time a year it is and nearly every other retailer in the UK extends there return date until after Christmas! As for the laptop itself I cant really comment , everything looks okay but as to whether it works or not I couldn't say. If it doesn't I guess it will just have to rely on The MSI 2 year warranty.....,

Disappointed that despite paying for next day delivery, this did not happen (Due on a Saturday). Then staggered to find that on Monday, the Customer Service line did not open until 10.00am. When I did ring, I almost gave up, as it took probably 3 minutes for someone to answer. When I finally got to speak to someone, they were profuse with their apologies, cancelled the extra charge for next day delivery, and ensured delivery the next day (Tuesday). Laptop is fine, and eventually all sorted, but must do better. In particular, they MUST have a better resourced Customer Service line. Not opening until 10.00am is unforgiveable.

Should have been informed was not going to get next day delivery without me having to call back a couple of days later. That said lady on phone was cheery and laptop was good value.
