“Despatch was very fast. The laptop had the correct software. The price was reasonable for the product and the additional software. Delivery was not perfect as the customer log in told me about DPD but not that the order was split between DPD and Parcelforce. I stayed in most of the day but missed the DPD delivery and was surprised (but relieved) when Parcelforce turned up with a laptop. I wasted more than an hour trying to contact DPD both by phone and online. They would not let me nominate a safe place despite this option being on the card they left. However early on day 2 they sent an e-mail giving me a link to track the delivery and I was able to arrange to be in when the driver arrived. It would have been better for me and DPD if that tracking e-mail had been sent on day 1. Apart from that I am very pleased with the purchase.”

“Could of bought laptop for exactly same price from PC World but with 3 day delivery, Googled Save on Laptops who provided a fast and straightforward process from purchase to delivery next day. Very impressed to say the least.”

“Overall all good so far, good comms, and decent delivery time 1 slight issue, the packing around the main laptop package was a shabby plastic bag, and didn't seem to offer much protection or look very professional”

“Usual v. good service except that didn't get any link or notification about delivery. First thing I knew was a card left by Parcelforce to say they would try again tomorrow. A half-day window would have been useful.”

“Thank you for a speedy delivery. This item is a Christmas gift so I haven't done anything with it. It looks a really nice laptop. I am sure my grandson will be delighted with it. The high spec it has should allow him to do all he needs and more on it.”

“On first recieving my £600 brand new laptop I was very excited. Well packaged and presented. I was then rapidly brought down to earth to find that despite its spec, it was incredibly slow.... Slower that my partners 3 year old Packard Bell laptop. This was extremely annoying.... I then went about letting it update over night, then all through the next day finally saying 'update complete'.... I restarted it to find 'fingers crossed' no issues at all.... It now has the performance I first expected straight out of the box.... I was on the verge of sending it straight back but now I am satisfied it was more a windows 8.1 update issue, more than a component defect issue. Hopefully it continues to perform as it does now... Hence 4 stars. Would buy again, but would appreciate not having to wait two days for updates...”
