“Good initial advice. Was told by pre-sales that installing windows 8 supplied with windows 7 installed laptop would be easy. After delivery, couldn't find instructions, rang for technical help and was given ASUS number rather than help from Save on Laptops. ASUS help desk took ages to email help instructions, by which time I had figured out how to do the windows 8 install myself. All in all, good price and delivery but pre-sales advice didn't match with post-sale technical support..oh and the sales extension was answered straight away but post-sales support extension rang for ages!”

“no contact with them, but fast delivery, no problems with tablet , though maybe a little more protective packaging would be advisable as box slightly damaged ( enough to make you think is contents ok )”

“Hi, I ordered the Cube laptop with a custom fitting of components. However when I checked out I ordered 32gb of RAM, it was later emailed to me by what I presume was the Cube Floor staff working there that 32gb of RAM was not possible in this laptop (However this was not told to me during my dealings with Saveonlaptops.co.uk (Box.co.uk). This caused a slight delay and some second guessings on my part. I have been a customer for over 4 years and have bought numerous laptops through this site. I have since checked and this has been updated to show that Cube laptops do not support 32gb of RAM. The experience was good overall but I am disappointed that Cube will have to manually refund the 105 pounds for the extra RAM. Hopefully this will be a smooth process, but things tell me it might not. Thank you for reading my feedback Gary”

“Overall, I was pleased with the delivery and I am pleased with the Laptop. However, two issues:- 1. I signed for next day delivery. However, this was unilaterally changed to "Non-Mainland" delivery without consultation with myself. By the way, I do live on the mainland!!!! 2. The laptop was advertised as having 500GB HDD and 8GB SSD. Whilst this is factually correct, it should be made plain that this is a Hybrid Drive and that the 8GB SSD is not user accessible. The SSD is used by the system as CACHE for the HDD and does not show up as a separate drive in device manager (or anywhere else).”

“Good service, was impressed by the extra security precaution taken of verifying who I was as I had not shopped with you before. Only 2 minor niggles which would feedback: 1) I paid for the next day delivery service, but it should be made clear this is next day after courier collects the laptop. Paid for laptop on Monday before 3PM and it wasn't collected until Tuesday = delivered on Wednesday. Needs to be stated that next day is from when it is collected. 2) I paid for a laptop bag to go with my order and was surprised when I found that ASUS provide one as standard with the laptop. This was not obvious when I ordered it, I can use the other laptop bag but didn't need to order one.”

“I went for the X552 because of the dedicated Nvidia 710 graphics and the extra 2gb ram. However once I eventually updated to Win 8.1 the onboard intel HD4000 graphics took over and I am still trying to get the Nvidia as default. I guess it is all older stock (in the fast moving world of win 8!) that hasn't been updated as a matter of course. I will no doubt figure out the graphic issue and the laptop is very good overall. The delivery was next day and excellent. I just wish it was all up to date out of the box like my wife's ipad!”

“I ordered the laptop to be sent by next day delivery at an extra cost. My partner ordered another for himself the next day to be delivered to the same address but asked for the free delivery service which took longer. Both our laptops arrived on the same day so I wonder why I bothered to pay the extra charge!”

“When I first tried to use this laptop, I found that it was freezing up and would not change pages. Hooking up to the internet was extremely hard and staying connected was becoming a issue. After uninstalling McAfee, I downloaded Norton Anti-virus to the laptop. McAfee has always been a issue with every laptop that I have purchased. If It is possible, I would request that McAfee fix their issues so the laptop would run properly when it is first turned on. Uninstalling McAfee also helps to speed up the laptop. This is a major issue that I think all companies should be informed about.”
