“5 stars across the board - except for a gripe about delivery. Had good notice of which day to be in for the signed delivery. Subsequent email from courier gave me a one-hour window. Excellent. The courier didn't have my laptop - only an associated s/w key in a package the size of a fag packet. Phoned Save On Laptops who told me the laptop was arriving by Parcelforce and pointed me at their small print saying deliveries may be split. Hands up who reads all the smallprint. Hands up who read it and still assumed it might be a split delivery after receiving Good courier notification. This needs looking at - given their high standards everywhere else. Fixing it would solidify a top rating.”

“Super cheap laptops, at least if they're on offer, and the site is great at listing detailed specs and other info. Product arrived when it was supposed to, and in perfect condition. Customer support was very good when I dealt with them - there was an issue with the info I submitted during ordering, they explained it nicely, and it took a 30-second call to fix and resume the order. All in all, very happy.”

“Good price and quick delivery (although the tracked delivery only contained the add on bits I ordered - no laptop - which got me worried until another van arrived half hour later with the machine). Add on 3 year warranty was simple 3rd party rather than Lenovo, which it sort of looked like on the web site, but I was not too surprised as it was cheap.”

“Pleased with the main purchase - Dell Latitude 3540 - and collect + delivery. However, could not run the Norton 360 PC Protection disc purchased with the PC. (the DVD/CD drive is serviceable) I will be seeking advice from the Save on Laptops support team.”

“Great service. I ordered a computer from here after some very poor reviews from other laptop providers. Laptop came on time and easily picked up via the collect+ service at a local shop (cost a fiver) The only niggle was that the parcel was not very well protected (came in a plastic courier bag). There could easily have been damage caused by general transit handling. Luckily there was none. So far so good.”

“Ordered on Saturday, with next day delivery, came on Tuesday am (they don't work on weekends so no complaint on that) Bought Lenovo B590, seemed a good deal, works well though not as fast as I would have expeted, should have ordered more ram, again my fault, but perhaps it is something they could warn about. Spent the first 3 days downloading updates, but then I am running 7 and I guess the o/s was originally installed some time ago. The machine is light, runs very cool and very quiet (nothing to keep you awake), though feels a little insubstantial after my Vaio, and previous thinkpads I've had, but I guess you have to pay for the lightness. overall reasonably pleased with it, but will put another 4gig in see waht happens then.”

“Very pleased with the product, price, communication and delivery speed. My only concern is the 19.99 nortan antivirus provided as an optional extra. It seems that this software is not compatible with the laptop i purchased and all attempts i have made to work around this problem have failed. Instead i have had to download a temporary free antivirus online. If it would be possible to exchange it for a compatible replacement or even just receive a refund for the nortan antivirus i would appreciate it. despite this issue i am still very pleased, and the cash back offer makes this purchase great value.”

“The additional security checks were very inconvenient because I was not informed at check out, and I had no idea who I was giving my card info to, though they made up for it by delivering my order the very next day for free.”

“Shipping of the laptop was very fast. It arrived on the next day (though I order it with regular up to 5 days service). The laptop itself is of average quality. It is considerably slower than I expected, so I will be ordering some more RAM any time soon. The microphone is also not working properly (sometimes at all) so I will be contacting the support department some time this week. I would be able to provide better feedback after I see how this issue will be resolved. In conclusion - service rating - 4.5 out of 5, quality of product 3 out of 5.”

“As described! Delivery messaged with a specific on hour slot on delivery day (although a specific date when ordered wasn't stated) but can't complain as delivery was free! Was a bit miffed about a 1.3% charge for credit card use & 1.5% shen I checked out paying via paypal. Very pleased with item! Can't comment on aftercare as haven't had to ask for any & hopefully won't need it.”

“Next day delivery. There was a small variation in specification to what I ordered (wrong amount of RAM), but I was offered the choice of sending it back or fitting the additional RAM myself. I chose to fit the RAM myself and it arrived quickly. Overall I'm happy with my purchase and the service I received.”

“In terms of value for money they were brilliant, collected the laptop from the store, said could take 24h was and hour or so. Little bit of time waiting in the store but not too long. However the online checkout did strongly advise I bought some security which I did, little to my knowledge te laptop already had it pre programed on it. Over all very recommendable”

“Product is great and company got laptop out to me quickly. My only criticism is about PDP who are responsible for delivery of the item. They have online and phone systems that are both frustrating and are not user-friendly. Rearranging delivery was extremely frustrating.”
